Have you thought of pouring the left over resin into a large pyramid mold till it's full. Good way to use the left over, instead of throwing it away.

This video made me wonder if you could stick some flowers alcohol Isopropyl alcohol over night and then put them in Resin, it may stop any discolouring from drying and from not drying... Just a theory no idea if it would work, the first thing to try would be to drop a flower in a air tight jar with a bit of Isopropyl alcohol for the stem to take up and if that doesn't do anything move on to resin casting it.

I love the 2 green ones and the rose looking one probably equally the best. The other 3 are ok but just not as good. Is there one single Counter Culture resin type that would be good for both casting smallish pieces (think coasters) and doing epoxy tumblers? Those are the two projects I do the most and I’m not terribly happy with the resin I’ve been using. Would love to try this brand, but this is just a hobby for me so I really don’t want to buy two different types of resins if I don’t have to.

I have measured exact, moved everything to a warmer room (in case this cold front was the issue), and STILL! our air is much dryer than when I did the first run, but I cant figure out what else is crudding up my resin molding! ugh! Hi Artsy Madwoman. Love your videos and have learned so much. Can I ask how you prevent the alcohol ink from collecting down the walls of the mold? I'm trying to get this effects in a dome paperweight and have tried this several times but just get a muddy mess down the sides of the cast. I can see there's definition, texture and wonder in the centre of the cast but it's all obscured by the mess down the edges. I've seen it done in a shaped mold before, a pyramid and a ball so I assume you can do it in something other than a dish. Does that make sense? Many thanks Andy
