quite simply... it doesn't work at all... I got mine a week ago, and other than Analog Lab, can't get a single sound from any other VSTi's inside Cakewalk. The videos you do find are *not* for the software that comes with it...There are no clear directions anywhere on the web for setting it up in Cakewalk, to use it as advertised. Don't expect the transport section to work, it won't with Cakewalk. Everything has to be custom mapped by the user. I bought it to make music.. not just sit around and frown... Shop for a Roland A-300 controller, which was made for Cakewalk..

I just bought this 3 hours ago and its been nothing but aggravation. i need a video on how to set up the dam software and configure it. it took me 3 hours to get it to make a sound and then after my 8th download now its back to not making any sound and all of the software seems to be for a different keeboard

@@andrewnowatzki4797 Im sure its good with the software if you can figure it out but most people are saying on a lot of forums is that the pc is just not as good as IOS and apple for music. SO i got the adapter and plug it into my Ipad where its perfectly compatible with garage band. it has so many great sounds that you dont really need the keylab essentials if you are just writing music and recording. The grand piano on garage band is as good as you can get and so is the electric piano and rock organ. but you can use it as a controller for lost of things like the synthesizers and drums. when and if you get to a higher level then you will need to understand apple so learning all the crap to get it to function on a pc is just a waste of time. good luck

Yeah i prefer synth action light keys too. If you get a nice semi weighted bed like on native instruments (I have A49) it is really good for even piano. The keylab is pretty good too

If you have the correct midi/lighting usb adapter we are sure it would work fine, however, you'd need a power-supply to power the keyboard as the iPad wouldn't have enough power to supply power to the keyboard, although we haven't actually tried this

We are assuming you mean a factory reset. Hold the "Octave up" & "Octave down" buttons while powering it up. Once the unit has powered up, press the Jog-wheel to confirm.

Any version of Ableton Live can act as a ReWire Device or Host. This has nothing to do with Arturia. There are however several limitations when using Live as a ReWire device as opposed to a host, and also MIDI control was not supported (when used as a ReWire device) prior to Ableton Live version 10.
