This review is superior to many because we are shown how to achieve certain effects, while keeping it interesting. Bravo and thank you!

I've been using the 37 for a week and nothing else really compares in this range. My only grip is the touch Pitch/Mod, I'm constantly brushing them when playiing the lower keys. Resulting in some horrible sounds,.. That is its only flaw, the Build Quality, knobs, buttons, layout, features and my god connectivity all exceed expectations. With respect the touch strips do function flawlessly and are very expressive. I've just scratched the surface on this Gem, I find something new everyday and I haven't even messed with the Software yet.

Does it have a metal back like the Minilab Mk2? I'm considering buying it for a mobile music producing setup

Just purchased this Arturia 37.Plan to set it up in. a day or two. Not a keyboard player. I'm Vocalist & Guitar Player. I work with Logic Pro X. Using it for vintage Mellotron, Hammond B3 Organ, Bass Guitar and Acoustic Piano. Excellent video. Detailed and you make it easy to understand. Thank you.. Check out the music on my KZbin Channel is here: kzbin.info/door/4mpnqzBpTz0HwziNPxqKWg

Thanks for the clear video - very well explained. I heard some additional sound with every note you played. A kind of “touch sound”. Is that normal?

Thank you very much for this video. Do you know if its compatible with presonus studio one?

What do you think about this device after time? Do you use it now?
@CreativeSauce Жыл бұрын
Hi, yes I still use it for my mobile setup. Primarily coz I like the kerbed, and it's kind of just the right size.

Interesting keyboard. How did you experience the smaller sizes of the keys, Mike? I'm used to full-sized keys, so always hesitate when I see those small keys.
@CreativeSauce4 жыл бұрын
I think to get that size advantages, it's a fair trade. I have medium to large hands, and it was still comfortable. Then again, I play like a snail, for really no issue!

ARTURIA KEYSTEP 32 MINI CAN BEAT UP KORG MICROKEY 37. For me arturia is the best better than KORG MICROKEY 37 with bluetooth or not bcz its so stingy so naive not so much function for midi controller that have today.

Would this be less useful on a monophonic synth like an odyssey? I like the randomization and chord function

... everyone are raving about the sequencer but I find it completely unusable since it's not recording the channel...!??! It's completely stupid. Just one extra byte to record and the sequencer would have been great. The feeling of the keys is great until you play a chord and use the inner part of the keys... No travel at all. So there are huge rooms for improvements...

Pity the original keystep has the crappy little micro USB port. I would be happy with that but am considering paying an extra $100 for the K37 just for the more robust jack.

Hey Mike, can you tell if the keysteps midi out is also a midi thru? Otherwise I'd need a midi merger...

Here in the Netherlands I see prices of around or just above 100 euros. (Thomann 105 euro) The fact that you can play chords with one finger can be useful if, for example, you want to make a song but are not quite sure about the chords. You notice I am not a good keyboard player and often try to find things on my guitar.
@sevenfifteen4 жыл бұрын
You see the prices of the older version. This newer one isn't out yet.

Learn how to midi map... and you wont ever care if any midi machine can communicate with another...and then all of a sudden you will also be able to customize any midi hardware to your liking. I dont get why 95% of people who make electronic music do not learn one of the easiest and most versatile skills in production there is...
