I been for a vegan for 25 years and my personal question to you is if 10 years back I was having a dog and I was feeding Pedigree to it but it's having meat make sure you always felt very guilty to feed it to my dog the world slowly turning into vehicles if the world turn fully vegan how do can we feed dogs which are in straight or our home dogs cats and other animals that rely on meat and humans

A better way to argue would be to explain the amount of plant resources needed to produce 100g of chicken. Even if we consider that plants may experience some form of distress, a significant number of plants must be used to generate an equivalent quantity of nutrients obtained from animals.

There is no question on cruelty or no cruelty, its the question to make it lesser. Meat eaters should not talk about plant's feelings. Becoz plants production and consumption is far more high in farming for meat produce. Indirectly they are using Far more plants and water and land for meat production than plant based food. Only with half of the total animal farm lands , huge production can be done for fruits, veggies, cereals and much more. Vegetarian food is becoming expensive, fruits are expensive. Cereals are expensive. These can be balanced.

The methods of slaughter needs to improve always. No question about that. The reason you feel this way about pigs vs apples, is simply because you can see and hear the “pain” of pigs. You cannot see the same from plants, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen in a way imperceptible to us humans. Also the argument that our eating of meat causes the consumption of far more plants than if we were vegan. That is exactly the point of food chain that this gentleman is bringing up but you are unwilling to acknowledge or comprehend. That is patently false because the amount of nutrition we would get and the narrow range of vegetable choices we would have would not be sufficient kilo for kilo. There are also several micronutrients that are simply not available via plant sources, for which meat is a far better option than synthetic supplementation. Is it better to eat meat or to pop pills to prop up your vegan attitude? Think carefully.
