Arya was so scared when I got to the rescue location. I was told by locals that she carried this terrible injury for a few days, and I just can't imagine the pain she had to endure.
After completing the rescue and getting her the best medical care, Arya continued to her foster home with our friends at L.A Animal Rescue to recover from the surgery.
It has been exactly a month since her surgery, and the change in her is just incredible!!! This is one of the most uplifting stories I posted in a long time and I just can't wait to see her in a loving forever home.

Animals have very thin mentality sensors and feel well when we come to them with love. Here is definetily A LOT of permanent love which gives these babies such confidence and make them calm and really friendly after a while. Thank you Eldad for making our world better! Yes, isn't that heart-breaking? That is two videos in two days that I have seen where animals were doing this. I watched a video on Kritter Klub about a kitten who was rescued from a narrow corner of an alley refusing to leave her dead mother. When the Korean rescue group finally managed to get the kitten and then the body of the mother, they did an autopsy on the mum and found that her intestines were filled with earth, stones and plastic and that the kitten also had stones and earth inside him. The motto of these stories is: Never presume that just because a cat or a dog is a stray that somehow they "know" how to survive. They can't and they don't.

Even dogs who aren't starving eat rocks/gravel, they can do it for various reasons; it's a very common problem for dog owners, but it can also help identify what type of illness your dog is suffering from, like diabetes, intestinal disorders, some types of carences, etc... (so if your dog does it, bring him to the vet to rule it out) Sadly, sometimes they just do it because they like to chew/suck on stuff to releave stress, and accidentaly swallow them. Dogs who tend to be anxious do it more, especially strays like Arya. What I'm trying to say it that they don't simply swallow rock on purpose to keep hunger at bay. They usually instinctively know better than doing that.

Randall Flagg for any dog that never have real food will eventually stop eating rocks when they know there’s better options out there. It’s not rock they also eat, but sticks. I have a dog who chew on sticks and spit it out.

Our dog of 9 months old Odin just left us for the Valhalla , lost 15 kilo in 4 days, somebody in our village in southern France poisoned him and there was nothing we could do even as we tried. To the persons without heart that think that animals are just nothing to people know that they are as important as our kids and I do hope that you will know that same sadness one way or another.
