Hari Om 🙏 Am born as Christan and till the age of 25 years .later at once when am getting older I can't able to understand the logic behind the Christian ity in my mind I have so many questions and am not getting the answer from it, I started searching the meaning of life and wht is all about ,slwy I started searching in bagavathgita and Upanishads..my whole perspective change abt whole whole idea about life it gives me a perspective about the life . Due to the change within me whole family turned against me ,they were telling am evil spirits..just because I become vegetarian ,I started practicing yoga and meditation,and I started reading the Upanishads.. I respect you for having the courage to leave Christianity after having been a Hindu covert. My father converted to Christianity while I was a teenager. Like you, I always asks these questions in my mind but I dare not ask them in the Church as they would say you should never question God. The Church demonizes Hinduism so much that we as Indian started to hate our own culture and people. I really want to return to Hinduism but my family will cut all ties with me and treat me like an outcast. It is a really tough thing to do. I feel like I'm living a lie everyday because I identify myself as a Christian but I don't believe in it.

@@mangopudding5979 Hi. I was a Christian for many years and I live in a country that was once a British Colony. I'm obviously of Indian heritage and like many Indian people in my country, our ancestors were Hindus. The Colonisers wanted to strip Hinduism from the Indentured labourers and even went as far as forbidding Hindus from doing their various pujas. Christianity was presented as the 'Superior' religion by the Colonisers and they tried to convert many Hindus. However, most Hindus held onto their religion. I say all these things to give you some insight into my assessment. You see, this demonising of Hindus and Hinduism started since the days of colonisation and what many Christians fail to realise is that they continue the very act up to today. They continue to see Christianity as superior because this is what the Colonisers left in the Church. If you live in a country that didn't import Indians as labourers then you won't understand how Christianity was used as a tool against Hinduism by the Colonisers. There are a lot of things I can write based on my experience but I think I might need a book 😂. I will give you a recent example of what a popular Pastor (he is an Indian Christian who converted from Hinduism) has done: He teaches that Lord Shiva is Satan that's in the bible, and he uses this as a way to 'show' Hindus that their God is actually Satan of the bible. The thing is, my country is made up of about 35% people of Indian ancestry and thus remaining population knows nothing about Hinduism and these people believe what these Indian Pastors say about Hinduism and they themselves preach it to their congregation. This has led to Non-Indian people viewing Hindus as Satanic. The Church sees nothing wrong with this kind of message as they believe it's 'ok' to preach about the idol worshippers and as such they really don't care if their feelings get hurt. This is only one of many cases I can talk about where the Church justified hate against Hinduism.

Christianity basically utilizes the guilt quotient of a person and to take him/her into it's fold, while islam utilizes the fear quotient of a person to capture men and women into it's fold. Till 325 AD, not a single historian or writer wrote about Jesus Christ or any of his disciples . BEFORE THE FIRST COUNCIL OF NICEA IN 325 AD, NOBODY ON THIS PLANET EVER HEARD OF THE NAMES JESUS CHRIST OR CHRISTIANITY. JESUS/ BIBLE / CHRISTIANTY WAS COOKED UP IN 325 AD, BY JEWESS HELENA , WHO SAT ON THE POPE'S CHAIR.. The dead sea scrolls covering the period from Birth of Jesus to 68 AD , does NOT say one word about Jesus or his 12 Apostles. Hellenistic philosopher Philo Judaeus of Alexandria (20 BCE-50 AD/CE)-alive at the purported time of Jesus, and one of the wealthiest and best connected citizens of the Empire- makes no mention of Christ, Christians or Christianity in his voluminous writings. Nor do any of the hundreds of other historians and writers who flourished during the first THREE centuries of the common era. The DEAD SEA SCROLLS were all written by Pagan Essenes . None of them have been edited by later Christians, as is the case with some other Jewish literature. All the scrolls (except a treasure map known as the Copper Scroll) can be dated prior to A.D. 68 or 69, when the Qumran settlement was believed to have been destroyed by the Romans in the Jewish revolt. The oldest of the scrolls probably goes back to the middle of the third century B.C. The people of Qumran belonged to a Pagan religious group known as the Essenes. Pliny the Elder, who died during the volcanic destruction of Pompeii in the year 79 A.D., described a community of pagan Essenes living on the western shore of the Dead Sea, close to where Khirbet Qumran is situated. John the Baptist was an ascetic Essene . He was a vegan and was uncircumcised . Various literary sources like Josephus and Philo tell clearly that Essenes were ascetics. We also know, from literary testimony, the Dead Sea Scrolls, and the archaeological remains of Qumran, that the Essenes practiced many water baptisms for ritual purification-similar to a dip in the Ganges or the river Pampa or at Thiirunelli. At Qumran, however, all members of the community were baptized with water for ritual purification. Josephus writes, "And as for their piety towards God, it is very extraordinary; for before sunrising they speak not a word about profane matters, but put up certain prayers which they have received from their forefathers, as if they made a supplication for its rising" (Wars, 2.8.5). The FAKE gospels were written after 325 AD after Jesus was cooked up at the first Council of Nicea.. Twelve apostles of Jesus never existed. Jesus Christ names 12 apostles to spread his gospel, and the early Christian church owes its rapid rise to their missionary zeal. Yet, for most of the Twelve, there's scant evidence of their existence outside of the New Testament. The concept of using statistics to prove that 'God authored the Bible' is bullshit. Why was the library of Alexandria burnt ? The gospel of Thomas was not written by Jesus' disciple Thomas. Englishman Godfrey Higgins studied Greek, Latin and law at Cambridge . His two-volume, 867-page book Anacalypsis: An Enquiry into the Origins of Languages, Nations, and Religions, was published posthumously in 1836. In his treatise, Higgins writes " the mythos of the Jews and the mythos of the Greeks are all at bottom the same lifted from the ancient mythos of Hindus ; and ... are contrivances under the appearance of histories to perpetuate doctrines," and that Christian editors “either from roguery or folly, corrupted them all.” 1900, Scottish MP John Mackinnon Robertson wrote that Jesus never existed but was an FAKE invention by a first-century messianic cult. He wrote about the First Council of Nicea of 325 AD where powerful forces invented a new god to fit the needs of the society of the time .Robertson specifically mentions the Talmudic story of the Yeshu . Thomas says: "Simon Peter said to them, ‘Make Mary leave us, for females don’t deserve life.’ Jesus said, ‘Look, I will guide her to make her male, so that she too may become a living spirit resembling you males. For every female who makes herself male will enter the kingdom of heaven’" (Thomas 114). AIYOOOOO -even Christians don’t like this When the master of James baby Jesus Christ never existed -- how can his disciple St James exist ? Even since the dead sea scrolls have been discovered CHRISTIANS and JEWS are jumping up and down like demented orangutans claiming that Essenes belong to them. Dead Sea text or Qumran Scrolls have absolutely nothing ZILCH, to do with the Bible of the Torah - never mind the diabolical lies of the Christians and the Jews. For arguments sake -even if messiah Jesus Christ existed , the gospels were written a even a century after Jesus' estimated year of death, by individuals who never met Jesus, and then were edited or forged over the centuries by unknown scribes with their own agendas.

Dear Believer: I do not accept the Bible as God’s word because it contains thousand of errors and contradictions that can not be solved, only rationalized. I refuse to accept Jesus as my personal savior, for his behavior and teachings often expose one who should be escaped and not worshiped. I ask that you read this page in light of the bible’s teachings; Christians should be “open to reason” (James 3:17 RSV), that we should “reason together” (Isaiah 1:18) and “he who hates correction will die” (Proverbs 15:10) to understand my perspective that the bible has many shortcomings. 1. According to your Bible I am to believe that human kind is sinful for Adam and Eve ate the fruit of knowledge. Why are we being punished for the original sin? After all, they ate the forbidden fruit, we didn’t. Reason would lead one to say it’s their problem, not ours. Even the bible contradicts itself by claiming in Deuteronomy 24:16, “children shall not be punished for the sins of their fathers.” 2. We are told that the Bible has no scientific errors and is utterly perfect/protected, yet it says the bat is a bird (Leviticus 11:13 & 19), hares chew the cud (Leviticus 11:5-6), and some fowl (Leviticus 11:20-21) and insects (Leviticus 11:22-23) have four legs. 3. Heaven is supposed to be a perfect place. It is of course, the place you strive for and name “salvation”. Yet, it experienced a war (Revelation 12:7). How can there be a war in a perfect place and if it happened before why couldn’t it happen again? Why would I want to go to a place in which war can occur? That’s exactly what I’m trying to escape, aren’t you? 4. We are told salvationk is obtained by faith alone (John 3:18 & 36) and then the Bible claims that it is repentance that shall save us (2 Peter 3:9) yet Jesus told a man to follow the Commandments-Matthew 19:16-1 8 (saving by works)-if he wanted eternal life. So which way is it and how do you know your belief is the correct one? 5. According to the text there are 29 cities listed in Joshua 15:21-32. One need only count them to see that biblical math is not to be trusted. The total is 36. 6. Surely you don’t believe Ecclesiastes 1:9 RSV (“What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done; there is nothing new under the sun”)? How many cities had an atomic bomb dropped on them prior to 1945, and how many people walked on the moon before 1969? 7. If the Bible is our moral guide, then how can it make pornographic statements such as: “…they may eat their own dung and drink their own piss with you” (2 Kings 18:27)? Also consult Numbers 31 where a whole tribe of people, including the elderly and children are slaughtered. The only survivors were the virginal women, who were later raped by the “just and perfect” Moses and his men. Is that what you want your children reading on Sunday? 8. If God created everything, (Colossians 1:16, Ephesians 3:9, Revelation 4:11 & John 1:3), then he did create the world’s evil (Isaiah 45:7, Lamentations 3:38). Thus, he is responsible. Any being who could create situations such as rape, death, malnutrition, disease, molestation and murder is certainly not fit for worship. 9. For justice to exist, punishment must fit the crime. No matter how many bad deeds one commits in this world, there is a limit. Yet, hell’s punishment is infinitely greater. It’s eternal. Shouldn’t a sinner suffer until remorse is felt and the crime is atoned for? What “justice” is there in infinite damnation? 10. Jesus said, “whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire” (Matthew 5:22). Yet, he himself did so repeatedly, as Matthew 27:19, Luke 11:40 & 12:20 show. Shouldn’t he be in danger of hell too? Jesus also told us to “Love your enemies; bless them that curse you,” but ignored his own advice by repeatedly denouncing his opposition. Matthew 12:34 (“0 generation of vipers”), and Matthew 23 :27 (“… hypocrites… ye are like unto whited sepulchres.“) are excellent examples of hypocrisy. If Jesus himself is a sinner by his own admission then surely he can not be the “perfect lamb of god”.

My background is as a Christian. My parents did their best to teach me this and my country did their yearly biblical style specials on television. The answers I have heard to brilliant questions such as she proposed range from, "I am not a preacher." And then or coarse they will ask, "who are you to question this belief that so many on the planet over so many years believe to be true?" or "What would you believe instead?" expecting you to design an entire coherent philosophy on the spot to counter their moving goal post. Jesus claims in John 8:23, that He is from above, while we are from below, we are of the world , He is not of the world. God did it only for certain branded people. I: That is partiality. What about the rest of us? He: Anyone can convert with a simple ritual. I: What about those who lived before Anno Domini? He: They are all covered by the policy! I: Then I have a problem. You say my God has shown partiality towards those who lived before his sacrifice by granting them salvation without asking but not to the poor innocent Tamilians! My God will never do that. He: I have to get this point clarified by the bishop. I: Then why don't you do it first before thinking of teaching others? At this he switched off! I had to reboot him to say bye before getting down at Kothamangalam. I had not noticed the sharp curves enroute expertly negotiated by the venerable driver at high speeds!
