I had a friend when I was in college 50 years ago and her father worked in Venezuela and so she lived there as a child and would always talk about this place and what a paradise it was. I imagine that 60 years ago it was really very remote with not as many boats or tourists but looks like it’s still a paradise. Disfruta tu país y sus paraísos!

Venezuela is definitely on my bucket list. My grandfather visited in the 1970’s which obviously were much different times economically for Venezuela but he absolutely loved it and always spoke highly of the people, culture and natural beauty of the country. This young woman is an amazing ambassador to her country and if I were Venezuelan I’d be super proud of her work.

I visited every year from 2001 to 2015 and it was always safe, inexpensive and fun. My wife is from there and I want to go back with our now adult/teen kids, but it seems not as safe or inexpensive. I watch your content and dream of returning. Thank you for sharing!

Hi Marianny!! Mr Oliver welcome to Venezuela, tell Marianny to take you to Patanemo Bay (Bahía De Patanemo). How do you get there? At the Puerto Cabello buses terminal you can take taxis and buses, you can also hire boats at the Puerto Cabello yacht marina. You can also go in your car, you´ll drive a long distance which takes about 45 minutes from Puerto Cabello, but it´s worth it, you must leave Puerto Cabello by a road that leads to the Naval Base, and after rolling a little after passing the Dianca entrance (a drydock facility, do not enter) you will reach a roundabout, and you must take the road that leads to Borburata, Gañango & Patanemo (there are road signs there, avoid taking the road to the Naval Base) Don´t take the exit to the Borburata village, go straight and later you will arrive at Gañango (you will see the sea at Gañango at last) To get to Patanemo Bay from Gañango you must pass a road that borders the mountain and the sea (mostly steep slopes with good scenery), at Gañango you can also park your car and hire a boat towards Patanemo Bay and nudist beach "Ensenada De Yapascua" (Yapascua´s Cove), Yapascua is a wild and desolate cove, so you must carry water and food, there are no services there, people camp in groups in Yapascua since it is a beach with bioluminescence. Returning to Patanemo: Patanemo is a wide bay surrounded by a jungle, a wide strip of sand and with an extensive line of palm trees. I'm American but my mom is from Caracas. We lived there in the 70's when I was about 12 years old. We lived in a high-rise condo right below the Humbolt. As a little kid I had a great time. But these days, as an American, I don't think we can get visas to Venezuela anymore.

Just tell your single friends that come here but look for a traditional Venezuelan female that can cook and clean and are hardworking! If you go to my city Caracas were Marianny is also, you will find 50 women like her for every neighborhood!

A mi si me lo preguntan a mi tengo una variedad de "fenotipos" osea apariencias pues pero sea de la raza que sea tiene que tener caracteristicas especificas como curva dorsal matematicamente proporcional a la carga del embarazo, pronunciamiento y amplitud de la cadera, piernas abundantes cara angelical etc. de preferencia atletica pero si hace algo de ejercicio bien! Da igual si es albina, naranja, asiatica, morena, alienigena o elfa!!! Eso si nada de cirugia plastificada eso no me atrae para nada!!!!

Maybe you could make a video about how it work in Venezuela, Ollie could help you, his point of view as a European would be very helpful for us. I would like to go to Venezuela, but it’s difficult to get any information. I’m from Germany, but I think, it is the same case for England or other European countries. The most websites, where we book flights, hotels and so on are US based. It’s starts, that I can’t book a flight on my usual way. Also Airbnb &!booking doesn’t support Venezuela. What currency I need as a tourist, will my Visa or Mastercard work in Venezuela, probably not. It’s very difficult to find information about these things, other KZbinrs don’t go to Venezuela, only the Venezuelan ones and they have a different perspective of this. I think, if you would make a video about this with the perspective of Ollie it would be very interesting for a lot of travellers.

Your title is very misleading. You didn’t answer the question at all. You simply asked your boyfriend at 9:44 “is this country good for foreigners?” The US Dept of State says “Do not travel to Venezuela due to crime, civil unrest, kidnapping, and the arbitrary enforcement of local laws. Reconsider travel due to wrongful detentions, terrorism, and poor health infrastructure.”
