It's a folk style with some hip hop element in there it was sung and produced by a local underground singer called "ปู่จ๋านลองไมค์ (Pu Jaan Long Mic) from northern Thailand.

This song most popular bcoz many factors such as; the lyric composed as poem,rythm as tradition song mixted rap, the meaning of song, the lyric omitted some word( rough words) but kake the audiences unserstand by rythm, his voice very nice, and the singer performance too.

It's more refined this time around I think, season 1 was sensational and something at least I have not seen on the screen before. I know the Korean version this concept is based on but Thailand took this to a whole new level of quality. They've done a tremendous job on the music, creating their own take on many of the songs they cover and it's great! I really like this song, even if I'm not Thai, the tone and text is very good (don't know how accurate the translation is but not bad anyhows). Oyster, Sumo and Turtle are my favorites this season. Nice reaction-vid, good review after the video, much better than all those who just watches and cuts the video without any thoughts of their own. Liked and subscribed.

You should check out his other performance where he sings a song from 1992 from one of the judges on the show. He show more of his vocal range on that one and the performance is great.

This song is a combination of western pop music and old traditional thai style and rapping toward the end. However, what made the song unique is the lyric which is a kind of straight forward type. You"ve gotto read the subtitle to get the most out of it.

season 2 brings in someone that's more well known, those that are younger, than the people that had been brought from season 1. Ofc, this shit gonna be better if you're going to compare the two, coz man, everyone could discern their amazing voice and say the same.
