I absolutely love the nature tank and it’s awesome how it has progressed. The red plants look like Ludwigea . Heck if you can get those all to grow you could sell them. I know I would buy some😁. I took some “weeds” out of my yard for my summer tub after getting inspiration from watching you build that tank. The options are endless when we use what Mother Nature provides us.

I've been waiting for an update on that one outside tank with the red plants and green grass. I LOVE that tank. Blows me away that it took one minute to put together. 😍

Lucas, this is seriously amazing! How cool is that! That is the most interesting aquarium to watch! I need to do this (again) 😂 Look how clear the water is! And the plants, wow

Really cool to see how it this turned out. Some Florida natives would be cool to see in there if you figure out an overflow.

i remember years ago, dustin had an outdoor tank and he was running his hand in it and came across a HUGE dead rat. he almost threw up. do you ever get critters in them?
@LRBaquatics6 ай бұрын
Once in awhile during certain nature cycles during part of the year I will get a bunch of caterpillars or grasshoppers time to time. But it’s usually periodic and try to remove ones I can or just let the natural system eat them and they turn to food. No mammals thankfully. I had live raccoons that’s would play in my ponds at the old house but they didn’t do much but muck it up for a few days and maybe snack a fish but was rare for them to do so.

🔥🔥🔥 video! Do you seed the outdoor tanks with daphnia, or is it like the field of aquariums: "if you fill it they will come"?
@LRBaquatics6 ай бұрын
I did seed them helps guarantee seeding but also like field of dreams aquariums out there with daphnia and other things.

I’d have assumed that fish in open top tanks and ponds would be predated on. (Such as visit by kitty cat 🙂) A former neighbor’s small ponds in eastern PA used to get visits by deer (drinking water, sometimes breaking some of structure/equipment), and herons/egrets passing through (sushi!).
@LRBaquatics6 ай бұрын
You would be surprised. Luckily I have bigger ponds on the property that are natural and get better and easier food from.
