Thermostats are on/off only and not variable, so the fact that you set it for 67F but it only reached 61F means it likely reached max. output and ran continuously all night (evident by the smooth temp. curve with only one dip around 7:40 pm when you started the test). Also, the fact that that you put the thermometer right next to the heater means that was likely the hottest part of the trailer so, for instance, the floor plus the opposite side of the space were likely significantly cooler. Probably okay for night sleeping with lots of blankets but would you be happy with a max. daytime temp inside the trailer of 61F based on an outside temp around 31F? Would like to see a max. temp setting test to confirm... P.S: A full-size 1500/750W dual output heater would never cook you in there if you put it on a low setting as it would just cycle on and off more thru out the day or night to maintain temp. yet still have enough capacity to give you all the heat you need when required... Interesting test though.

Just bought 4 of em from Temu for $10 each. I've had 2 of them running for about 10 minutes in a 36' 5th wheel. It's 59 outside and we're up from 61 to a steady 68 with two running on either end of the RV. Happy so far! We'll see how they do when it gets much colder. We were using one 1500w ceramic tower heater and one 1500w oil heater. If we can micro-heat all 3 major zones with 3 heaters running at 500w, thatll cut our heating cost in half.

That seems like a good Idea for distribution of heat.
@gphilipc203110 ай бұрын
Since your T Stat never reached set point the heater ran continuously during the timed interval. That would mean setting at 90 deg would not have made any difference. You still only would have gotten up to 61 deg regardless. The implication is you would have needed a higher wattage heater to reach set point in that particular RV camper.

Full power for a space heater is 1500 watts. Which translates to only a little over 5,000 BTUs The good news is that you can plug more than 3 in and not have to worry about throwing a circuit…. But I would rather purchase a three level fan heater that can still run at full power or limited depending on my choosing

I just ordered one 🤦🏽♂️ I hope all the people in the comments are just idiots. It seems like they’re trying to warm up a room, this is meant for small spaces. So I’m hoping this is going to keep my wagon camper comfortable. I don’t like heat either but i caved it was cold for me and my pet. I’ll leave a follow up 11/10/24 if I remember or get a notification

Thanks for reviewing. I guess its ok for small spaces, but the ad claims are BS saying its going to save us money over our central heating system. It will, but my nuts are going to freeze! On a safety note, I'd only run this, including while I'm sleeping, with a reliable smoke detector close by it.

Where is the one like this one with the remote? Test that one!!!😁 They have heaters that do 1500 and can also do less as well such as 650 or 750? That might take you to your target 67 ° faster??

Aiwa as well. Ollie's sold those heaters with the Aiwa name last year. Which is weird because Aiwa was known for stereo systems. Several years ago I had a great Aiwa stereo. Now Aiwa sells different kinds of products. Including coffee makers.

I received 4 of these in Nov 2023. The issue I have is the rotating plug on the unit sets it 1.5" from the wall to the weight of the unit and pulls the unit from the wall plug. I think they altered it a bit to give better air input. I am not sure what I will do with these. @@BrianWatersOutdoors

Good catch! I had to put the sysport organizer in my big garage and move back the tool chest because that was taking up too much space and I couldn’t get the camper to fit in the garage properly.

Calculate the Heat Loss from the room you are using, then size your Heater to match your heat loss. Example if you live in Zone 3 ( Moderate) then you need 40 to 45 Btus per square foot to heat your place. That heater is not going to do it.
