I love ever this theme, purely inspiration about 80s, Meg Ryan & all about this nostalgic soap memories. synthetic instruments score, cosmic mysterious tune mixed with brazilian soft samba & some scents of middle 70s soul & funk as like "Soul Train" Do you know?....most beautiful Soap Opera themes was made thru the world. It takes You away for all sadness & troubles.

The 1993-1999 logo for "As the World Turns" is seen here, with the 1981 Version 1 theme song "The World Turns On and On" as we hear it. And we sure do miss this CBS Daytime soap, after it left the air in 2010 one year after CBS Daytime soap "Guiding Light" did in 2009, as it does bring back a memory.

This Elliot Lawrence productions theme and all of its updates to 1993 were THE As The World Turns theme. None of the others can compare although the theme after it by Barry DeVorzon was pretty good also.

A great theme...dramatic but not sappy...in top 5 of great soap themes...its so timley and classic atwt should have never changed it!!! ...some of the themes after..down right old fashouned...should have kept this..in 2024 its still good...no trendy sax or electric quitar the soaps later used...this is classic timelees!
