Foto molto belle! Persone coraggiose! Se pensiamo che l'omosessualità era considerata una malattia! Fino al 1980.

I think the pressure of war and death forces a new perspective upon the individual. He may embrace the values he has inculcated or he may question them. War gave us many liberating ideas and WWII was even more so... Hell's Angels and the Stonewall riots were part of that societal reevaluation of what we were taught, what we learned and with whom we placed faith and trust.

I feel it is more important that they lived than that they have passed.

My friend Terry, when I was 17. God forgive me for breaking up with him. He cried then, and I cried ever since.

Sorry, it took so long to acknowledge your loss. I was closeted too long. Now, I focus on the present and value the past for what it was then. I allow a whimsical thought and sometimes a daydream... "For of all sad words of tongue or pen, The saddest are these: 'It might have been!'",

@@SuperSojournI'll never come out. My sister and brother-in-law wouldn't talk to me. They hate gays, even though their daughter is a lesbian.

That was photoshopped but I am convinced they had a life long love for each other. Beyond the early stardom which had them sharing a home for a few years before publicity threatened their stardom.

I believe there're a few pics which most people think are genuine. Also, weren't they part of the same friend group before they became lovers?
