He sings "My life is like a wound, I scratch so I can bleed. Regurgitate my words, I write so I can feed." He's often explained how singing and performing is the one time where he feels truly alive and content. To scratch away at yourself and bleed out the emotions and thoughts, write them down and repeat the words again and again (regurgitate) until you understand it, and then feed on that understanding of yourself and of existence, that's his food, that's what he needs to survive.

Great lyric. I loved the music especially at the end. This artist definitely cannot be ignored! Different Pulses is also the name of one of his first albums. As usual great reaction, include mentioning the similarity between a phrase you wrote and the lyrics of the song. Thanks for sharing another "gem" !

Oh this is my favourite. I don't know the titles of them. On the acropolis concert his amp was playing up so he said "fk it I'll do it without the guitar, nobody puts me in a box" he then asks for a piano harmony. Immediately, no practicing and it was stunning performance thank you I'm learning all the titles from you 😂😂😂😂❤

Here I am with my novels again (am I getting a little predictable? 😂) For you who wants to know what the song is about, keep reading. If you want to keep your own interpretation, don't read this comment. . . . This song came about after Asaf had an experience of all the burdens of life weighing him down. All the what ifs, what could have been, all the paths you took or didn't take in life. He felt completely stuck and longed for a blissful simple moment in all this chaos. He watches a lot of Brian Cox's science shows on BBC and remembered Isaac Newtons experiment with prisms, colours and light. A light that shines into a prism creates many different colours on the other side of the prism, but Asaf wanted to reverse that, he didn't want the white light to be fractured into many different pieces. He didn't want so many components/choices/paths in life, he wished for it to be simple, like a clear white path in front of him. So he wanted to shove all the chaos into the prism back to white, to sync everything perfectly. Even though he knew that is an illusion, the world is never that simple. With time our own angles become sharp just like a prism, we refract the light and can't see simplicity anymore. 💠💠 Asaf remembered that the only way Isaac Newton could get the many components to sync into a blinding white light again, was by using another prism. A single one is not enough. Us humans also need someone/something, to sync our different pulses and find our way back to some structure. It can be a life partner, an animal, music, writing, introspection, dance... Awww this makes me a bit emotional. 🥰I think this song is so damn beautiful. How he put this together. And this was only the chorus part... 😄

"And death grows like a tree that's planted in my chest, its roots are at my feet, I walk so it won't rest" - Powerful words. I interpret it like this. If we are still and don't develop ("walk") ourselves and our understanding of existence, death grows faster inside. If we keep walking and exploring existence we may live longer (?) or live a more fulfilled life maybe. If we give up, we might as well die. One of my favourite lines in this song is "I know that in your heart, there is an answer to a question, which I'm not as yet aware that I have asked"... which I haven't figured out the meaning of quite yet :) What are your thoughts on that line?
@SaeedReacts.6 ай бұрын
Thanks for sharing that interpretation. I like it and it makes sense. The last line out of context of the song it could be seen as a marriage proposal. She already has that answer in her heart, but he hasnt asked the question yet. Or something entirely different 😅

@@SaeedReacts. 😄 that's very romantic! That made me think.... what if he talks about his own heart. He's digging for an answer in himself. Or maybe he's married to his music 😄and knows if he keeps writing he finds answers to questions he hasn't asked yet.
