Actions in the State of the Asana
Weight your legs and arms sense the downward pull of gravity and allow part of you to wholly merge with the ground. Scan your pose and drop the weight your thighs, shins, feet, hands and forearms. Along with heaviness apply strength and power to your legs and arms---and watch your spine become lighter and effortlessly lift away from the ground. Feel the vertebrae disappearing further up into your body withdraw your sacrum, lumbar, and thoracic areas to deep interior locations within your torso. Come to a still and silent position with steady breath and receptive gaze.
10th Position
Plant your hands on the ground near your feet lift up your spine, extend your arms, keep your head back and hold here in the 10th Vinyasa for part B.
Actions in the State of the Asana
Extend your arms and suck your legs towards the middle line. Weight your leg and arm foundation. Push your pelvis forward against resistance from your thighs and work to make your dome shaped chest taller. Coil your upper spine to create space to lift your pelvis onto the vertical line over your knees. Keep your head heavy actively reach down and back through your eyes and nose.

I loved it so much! Had a good laugh in the end! I'm close to catching heels and feeling inspired to attempt it in my next practice, using the techniques shown here. The fact that she caught her heels in the end certainly left me encouraged and looking forward to tomorrow morning! And it's not often that we feel enthusiastic about exploring Kapotasana -))) Thank you so much!

Why don't you push your hips forward ? What is the reason ?

If we push forward it needs much more core strength to bend back and hold

Pinches lower back to just use counterweight of hips. Best to use leg strength not counterwright:)
