arc 6 imo was the greatest arc yet (only halfway through arc8 so not completely done ^^) it just had everything. the most fucked up death, great cast and location, insane lore reveals and hints to the big endgame of the series, incredible fights and some insanely big wtf moments at the final phase. not to mention the incredible "natsuki subaru" plottwist

ANIME-ONLY SPOILERS: with what you mentioned about the anime including al’s backstory, (or not) it wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense for re:zero to go all tokyo ghoul and reference events in the source material that were not even adapted to the anime in a ham-fisted flashback kinda way. the cut content from al’s backstory will probably be explored later this season assuming the director plans to do it at all. if we don’t get any mention about al being isekai’d this season, i predict they will still hint toward him being a looper and reveal the fact he was summoned much much later. all things considered it might make for a more interesting character arc / storyline to have al remain mysterious for longer than he was in the light novel given how massive of a fact it was for him to just nonchalantly reveal about himself so early into the story. not trying to shit on the light novel i’m just saying the anime has the chance to make it a lot more interesting.

Both are good,what I mean by that is both are S+++ I mean both are well written and have good animation and what not, but my biased opinion goes towards re:zero because I find the characters more enjoyable and also realistic at the same time balancing between enjoyable and realistic meanwhile mosuhuko tensei leans towards one's horrible nature and what not which is realistic Both have well thought out power system, sidecharacters, world building and most importantly character development and care put into 95 percent of characters

Regarding cut content its unfortunate issue here is still from previous seasons:- - Regarding AL content they have to include it now only 2 more opportunities are left in the season - Imo if they had to mention the wound for sake of foreshadowing it should have been back in S2 ep1 right now just gives it away too much for reveal,I think its better the cut ii altogether. - Hopefully they bring it back up regarding the kidnapping because i am pretty sure this will bite them back in the ass in future again
