you need to make full gameplay videos besides these short guides ..make a full game play video with sejuani, shyvana, kai sa, vi and elise in the jungle for 8. 7 season .. lets see some good full length game play guide with commentary with what you did and why etc like other youtubers with full game play guides in the jungle

Hello Virkayu; Could you please make a video of the subjects "when to gank", "how often to gank", "when to quit ganking for farm". I can't compete the gold players in silver games. All game along, my eyes on mini-map. Whenever i see the enemy jungle, approaching a lane or killing mobs in his jungle, i always go and clear the opposite side of his jungle, or gank the opposite lane. Orrrr I try counter ganking when i feel he is coming to gank. But they still play with 130 CS and with 5-2-4 score, they always multiply me by 2, for both score and CS. I really can't understand how the hell this happens. Especially, the CS. They even don't clear my jungle till mid game, i still can't catch them.

Thanks so much for these guides, as someone is who is trying to switch roles I really appreciate the in depth explanations, and clear instructions on how to problem solve. My biggest weakness right now learning jungle, is not knowing what the right reaction is to certain situations that happen more often in my lower elo games. I've just started and so my games are honestly weak, but with these tips and instructions I hope to come back a few months from now with some good news! Again thanks so much.

Virkayu I mean, in your opinion, is it really worth it? Taking hours out of your day, editing and talking over videos? I guess what I'm asking is, do you enjoy making your content? What drives you?
@virkayu6 жыл бұрын
I work full time (teaching) and hadn't made videos for a very, very long time so end of 2016 I just started messing around. A year ago this month, I relearned some editing (montages) and basically found myself just getting frustrated with my own lack of ability to rank up in my limited free time, and was annoyed at the lack of knowledge I was seeing and seeing as I couldn't capitalize on it, decide to try my hand at tutorials to help people learn more and rank up faster. I would love this to be a full time thing, but that's down to the amount of subs/views I have plus any potential support from the community/sponsors. I have no idea where this will go, but if it never becomes full time, I hope to at least help some people win more and have more fun in ranked and it'll have been worth it - but it won't go on forever unless it is sustainable financially for me. I would like to make other types of content/different games as well so I guess, aside from helping/teaching, I just enjoy making videos in general... we'll see where it goes.

@Virkayu i will look forward to a guide where you explain how to play jungler like shyvana or other heavy farmer / similar one . Can shyvana playstyle be associated with the counterganking one in the video ??
@virkayu6 жыл бұрын
The Evelynn vs Elise? Yeah, everything I did there you could do with Shyvana. The lack of CC hurts her, but that's the inherent problem with farming junglers.... you lack the same pressure and if all your lanes get destroyed, then you're gonna have a harder time. I do like farming a lot though, which is why I play Evelynn who can clear quickly. In the previous video like this (Elevate Your Jungling), I used Kayn while farming/counter jungling a ton.. same thing could be done with Shyvana.. and you can throw in those solo drakes/heralds in there too. Shyvana is better at counter ganking than straight ganking anyway.

You understand the game to a Master Tier level. Do you know why you are unable to attain a higher rank than Diamond 4 or is it because you do not push that high?
@virkayu6 жыл бұрын
Good question. Combination of things, but that's at the core of it. Each season in the past I took long breaks as I got fatigued because I have always worked full time even since I started playing League so I have never played nearly enough to improve my mechanics and in game performance to that level. To use FPS as the example: I know where to go, what weapon to use, but I can't aim as well as the other guy (I'm also 30 by the way lol). Because of that realisation, I often add a layer of challenge by playing off-meta champs or spamming stuff that isn't that good, newly released or is simply obscure. The higher you get, the harder it is to win with that but given I don't have unlimited time to play, I first and foremost want to enjoy the champion I am playing, with winning a close second. For example, last season I got Diamond 4 playing Ornn jungle/support 90% of the time, and this was before he came the OP god and more when he was 35-45% win rate! Because League is played in my 'downtime' from teaching, I don't always have the energy to focus on all the little things I'm actually aware of, and that tilts me too (I've lost a lot from IRL stress leading to tilt in game). So, I'd say half the games I play aren't learning games or games where I'm focusing on improving because of that. I would like to get at least D3 this year, but it'll have to have be with a champ I enjoy spamming that is also strong enough with my playstyle. We'll see if I have the motivation/mechanics! lol Sorry if it's a bit long, but I mostly just get insulted for being low Diamond rather than people realizing you can know things but also not be as good at applying them in real time.
@elitengan6 жыл бұрын
I understand. From what I can see in school, I can respect how time-consuming teaching can be. I also follow the rule of playing what I enjoy, I played an assortment of high damage champs even throughout tank metas and still managed to attain Master Tier. Macro and Micro are hard to seperate as both rely a lot on each other but mastering Micro allows for you to build an amazingly beautiful house on top of the wisdom of a good Macro foundation.

I have one simple question: I tend to pretty much always invade my enemy jungler at level three after doing my second buff, since, for some reason, my clears tend to be a few seconds faster. Is that a better option than early ganking or not?
@sovereigncharm2886 жыл бұрын
Thoughts on Sejuani as of late? Would you support a partial revert of the midseason rework?
@virkayu6 жыл бұрын
I'm glad she's way down in win rate and I would like to not see her again for a while given how much she has been played and been at the top for so long lol Still probably functional but definitely no where near as strong as she was. I played a crap ton of Zac and Sejuani over the years, and have hardly touched them since the reworks. I hated them. Would love a revert, even partial.
@sovereigncharm2886 жыл бұрын
Do you think a revert would remove the 'hate' people show towards her, considering alot of it is aimed at her extreme crowd control and two seconds of tankiness at the start of a fight?
@treymtz6 жыл бұрын
Wait is kai'sa a decent jungler? I thought she was only an adc. Since I'm currently in low elo and don't have the luxary of relying on teammates for Common sense things is it still viable? Or should i wait until i carry myself out to like gold for something like this?

is kai'sa a legit jungler?, and not just NB3 kappa 123 pick
@virkayu6 жыл бұрын
legit once you've had some experience with her, or if you play Kindred so you understand the jungle marksman dynamic. I was really bad at the start, and my team trolled because I picked it, but once I got the hang of it - it can be kinda disgusting. I think now it's considered a strong pick but only with those who know Kai'Sa and, most important, because she's so strong in general. We'll have to see after whatever nerfs Riot puts through on Tuesday if she can stay there. First Ornn and now Kai'Sa, I fear, will be some champs I loved bringing to the jungle but get nerfed out of it :(

Think of it like I'm a basketball coach. I know the theory of shooting, I know how to shoot myself, I can show you how to be the best shooter you can be, but I lack the talent/ability to do that myself accurately. That being said, I bounce around Diamond and I usually just pick weird stuff like Ornn jungle at the end of last season and try and win with that handicap. Never been a meta spammer as I get bored pretty quickly :P I don't really have the time to play enough (I work full time) to really push my limit, and when I do play it's 50% win, 50% enjoy the champ I'm playing. I much prefer giving you guys the information to reach your peaks than trying to do that myself. Hopefully that answers your question!

I almost died in the first 3 minutes where you just literally just pointed out all the mistakes I've done that gave me a lost after failing to keep the lead that I've gained. Most of those are my aatrox games. Maybe that's telling me something.

Very informative and educational (as always), however, I think the reason you haven't got the subs you maybe deserve is because you're generally playing in plat elo. Now, i'm not saying you have to be high elo to give advice as that would undermine all coaching, however, to be taken fully seriously you need to show that all of this advice translates to results (LP). I do understand that the majority of the player base is plat and below, therefore, these videos are largely for their improvement (so it makes sense to demonstrate these tips working in that elo). Although, I do still feel showing some higher MMR gameplay would add a bit more substantiation to what is already solid content :)
@virkayu6 жыл бұрын
Thanks! And yeah, fair assessment (especially regarding the coaching comment) and I understand what you mean, but there were more Diamond clips in this one than Plat (that's my second account I use to try stuff/new champs) specifically the Volibear example and the Evelynn vs Elise example which were the main examples used. The Kindred gameplay I recently did was also D4-ish. I'm never gonna have Masters/Challenger because I hate most meta champs, I take breaks from playing and I just don't play enough or have time/will to make that attempt (but personally I'm simply not good enough). I can explain everything I understand and know to people, but, to use FPS as an example, if I simply can't aim very well with my mouse because I'm just not that good, despite knowing where to sit/line of sit etc, then I won't be able to apply the advice as well :P My goal for the content is to show people what they need to know to get to Diamond and, if they are good enough and dedicated, to make that push to the top, and considering that's 98.5% of the playerbase, I'm okay with that. Any higher elo players with that goal should seek relevant coaching from the likes of LS etc as I am unqualified for that. Hope that doesn't come off as defensive, it's not at all, just sort of spilling my thoughts on it because I've had a ton of ignorant comments about this sort of thing (not yours). Thanks for watching! :)

Ah I only checked 2 of the accounts which were plat 3 and 1 i think, so my research was a bit off! Yeah i understand what you mean, I peaked D3 on an account I made last year (doing boring meta shit) and honestly don't have the willpower anymore to try and grind to high diamond/masters (that is assuming i'm even capable aha). I really appreciate your response though! Not defensive at all, well articulated and totally fair :) I now have even more respect for you! All the best mate :)

Virkayu there are always some questionable plays or INTeresting decions made by your teammates and enemy. You are actually deliviring 1v9 footage. Love it and keep up the good work :D !!

Usually playing something more aggressive so you can do that to the enemy or handle it better, or putting more wards yourself so if they invade your jungle, and you see it, you can go and steal THEIR jungle. Watch enemy laners behaviour, if they start to come to you, just leave. It's not worth dying for camps. I did a video on this also: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iXOuaGWcj9OHgck and kzbin.info/www/bejne/iqO9lZt-gJeVptk
