Catholic is a Greek word meaning 'universal' church. We are the only faith with a direct lineage 'Apostolic line of succession that started with St Peter the first pope. It is this line of authority first given to Peter and this authority continues till today. This is why confession to a priest is so important. As Jesus said to Peter that which is bound on earth is bound in heaven and that whatever you loose on earth is loosed in heaven. Sola scriptura is not in the bible. The protestant reformation was a sad time on earth and in heaven the angels wept. Because it was around 400yrs after the death of Christ that the Catholic Church assembled the bible under direction of the Holy Spirit. This is why bible alone falls over when scrutinised also as Luther removed books from the bible. Before the Bible was the Septuagint which is what the early church used. Worth looking into, even containing how the mass is to be celebrated. But we are all brothers and sister's under God. Praise and worship is to be given to God alone. On this and so many other things we share. Our real battle is a common one against the force's of darkness. May God bless you 🙏

I have only recently found Father Mike and find his talks so helpful. Born and Baptised Roman Catholic but hovered for too long and I recently asked God to show me how to be humble and to be with me because I want to be with Him . I need so much help and I know only God can help me, but I thank Him for Father Mike.

Hi hope you're travelling well. If you're looking to grow in faith and you're relationship with Jesus to become closer and you have not received the sacraments but would like to. Or if you're looking for truth in this world that has gone crazy. Find your local catholic parish and ask about R.C.I.A rite of catholic initiation of adults. Even if your just looking for God in you're life. I was raised catholic but from my mid teens till mid 30s I was far from God after 40 I found the hole in my life I was trying to fill with what I could. My wife around 7 yrs ago after going back to church although she was baptised in another denomination. We had really been doing it tough. I asked Our Lady Mary Immaculate to bring me close to your Son Jesus. That simple request changed my life, my wife went through RCIA and I was sponsor. It was an incredible journey for her and I found the hole I had tried but couldn't fill was only able to be filled by God. I heard a call in my soul to be involved with rcia to this day. When we say Mary she calls Jesus. After her conversion our world's became so different and im so great full. Jesus is the way the truth and the life. I love how the catholic church is the only faith that has a successive line all the way to the apostles and soooo much more.

Why does the Trinity not appear in the Bible?peace.//.
@MattP814311 ай бұрын
@@lufhopespeacefully2037 The Holy Trinity does appear in the Bible, but it is not labeled as such. In the Book of Genesis, God is spoken of as "We", "Us", and "Our". For example, "Then God said: 'Let us make Man in our image, after our likeness...' ". This seems to imply a paradox, or mistake; though it happens too often in this book to be an error. More likely, it was written exactly as God intended. The angels who visited with Abraham, and later rescued Lot and his household before destroying Sodom and Gomorrah, were spoken of as though they were bearing God's presence in a special way. There were three of them. Later, one remained with Abraham on the mountain while the other two went down to the towns. The angel on the mountain spoke with the authority of God, as did the other two upon reaching Sodom. Jesus stated in the Bible that "I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me. I and the Father are one". He also explained, after His resurrection, that He will ask the Father to send the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles; which John the Baptist spoke of in regards to Jesus: "He will baptise you with the Holy Spirit, and fire". John, who had authority to baptise before Jesus' ministry, did not have authority to call down the Holy Spirit. It would seem from these parts of the Bible, that Jesus and God are one being, and that the Holy Spirit, rather than an angel or servant, is equal to them. The only way for that to be possible, is for the Holy Spirit to also be one with God and the Son. One being, three distinct persons; as the Catholic Church teaches. A Catholic theologian could explain it much better. May God bless you. 🙏

Mothers are important as well, but it seems that if the father is the one getting everyone out of bed and dressed for church, those children end up sticking to the faith.
@joshbird26244 жыл бұрын
@@Wolfschanzeful I can back that. I was raised Catholic by my grandmother. The only father I ever had was the most high however the private middle school next to our church turned me to Satan. No one to guide me and at that age and I was too young to notice signs or even feel anything with a nonreligious mother on top. Now that I'm 30 and after a very very long life, full of regret and pain, me being the last alive I've learned I had st. Michael with me this whole time. He's been in combat with Satan inside me forever. Ive had everything anyone could ever want and everything everyone would not want. I can tell you if I had the proper guidance I would have saved 1000 lives by now. Luckily my path was already written and from what I've become after walking through true fire for what seems like an eternity, I am stronger then any influence from Lucifer. If one has a sour taste of religion then they need to learn forgiveness, redemption, empathy and unconditional love. It takes the smallest nudge to commit the most horrendous crimes and those are EASILY committed without Jesus in your life and also without guidance. If I had a father that was Catholic I can tell you I would be equally as strong however without a life of sin, pain, and harming of others. God bless!!

Beloved, I don't know you in person but God knows you. God ministered to me in a revelation when I was on your profile to see things around you,I saw blessings but spiritual attacks holding onto them,in prayers,i saw a woman in the realm of the spirit monitoring and plotting delay in your life, with an evil mirror, and with a motive to destroy. But as I speak to you now her time is up, Render hand of favour with Anything you can afford or give to the motherless, sow it to ( MOTHERLESS FOUNDATION) in Edo state nigeria before 2DAYS with faith, as I Rise my hands towards heaven and pray for you they shall serve as point of contact wherever you are, you will receive double portion of grace to excel and total restoration of breakthrough in your life and in the life of your family. Ask for their acct details and help them call the MD in charge of the orphanage to get their details on (WhatsApp or call them now on: +2349046099547 tell him I sent you. For it is not by might nor by power but of the spirit saith the lord (zechariah 4:6). You shall testify to the Glory of God in your life. God bless you.

Currently being involved with co-ordinating RCIA at parish level in Adelaide Australia your advice is invaluable. Fr. Mike....You have added so much to my life during this pandemic year. Your Sunday Masses have made me feel so much closer to Holy Mass. I have always appreciated Mass, but it means even more to me now. We need more priests like you. Your smile adds a lot to your homilies and your prayer. You always seem to be so happy with your vocation as a priest. We love you.!!!!!!!!!!
