We finally got the news many of us were waiting for in this recent live concert. Here some quick info: BABYMETAL BEGINS - The Other One / Black Night Location: PIA Arena Minato Mirai - Yokohama. Date: April 1st - Fox Day New third member officially announced: MomoMetal (Momoko Okazaki)🍑❤️ Kami Band: ? So far Anthony Barone from the West Kami Band is the only one with high chances of playing the drums was there, the rest is unclear. Setlist: 1) THE LEGEND 2) Megitsune 3) Gimme Chocolate!! 4) MAYA* 5) Mirror Mirror* 6) Time Wave* 7) KARATE+ 8) Believing* 9) METALIZM* 10) Distortion 11) PA PA YA!! 12) Road Of Resistance Encore 13) Babymetal DEATH - Shin Version 14) Ijime, Dame, Zettai * Live premiere + KARATE performed along with the new young BM unit. BMD - Shin Ver was performed with the three girls being crucified. At the end of the show they finally announced MomoMetal as "the new metal born" with a big picture of her. There's some more details related to the lore and narrated in certain sections such the beginning of the show, before performing Karate and the Encore section. Mirror Mirror as well all the songs from the new album got already live version, we'll have to wait for the proshot thou. did you know that Babymetal went on First Take and did one of their new songs, Monochrome, with piano. it showcased Su's vocals. it hit a million views in one day. you cant watch that and not feel the emotion Su puts in that performance. Time Wave to me i like the most. again to me only Babymetal can mix so many different genres of music in one song and still make it awesome. love this song too but i haven't heard any one catch the fairy tale difference. the first time she asks who the fairest is and the second time she asks who the worst is. like said before look how many different styles in this song and it blends so good.

Welcome back and great reaction. Your (and our) wish has come true - this song is from their new album and they are back on stage performing live. Two concerts at Makuari Messe in January and another one (for st of two) in Yokohama just a few hours ago - include the reveal of their new third member, former Avenger Momoko is now officially Momometal.🦊 There are 10 songs on the album - and they are still able to surprise us with the different styles.

🪞 This song just had its live debut April 1st, 2023 (Japan time). Between the five new songs at the 'BABYMETAL RETURNS' concerts in late January and the five at their most recent concert, they've already performed all ten songs from 'THE OTHER ONE' album. It's anyone's guess what the setlist will be like for the April 2nd, 2023 show.

they will be in the u.s. in september!!! as of now, only a few festival's like blue ridge and aftershock have been announced. i immediately got tickets to blue ridge but still hope they do a full tour here so i can see them more than once. this is the fourth song released off the new album, so you have some catching up to do. please react to their first take video of monochrome and here the clean vocals from them.

👍 👍 The new album is a treat for the senses and am looking forward to the Pro Shot videos of the LIVE performances of these songs. You should react to BabyMetal’s inaugural appearance on The First Take performing a piano version of their new release Monochrome. Also, I watched the LIVE Pro Shot video of Monochrome performed at their sold out back to back 2 night concerts last month in Tokyo. At a break in the song Suzuka asks the audience to “Take out your phone!” And “Turn on your light!” She then states “It’s amazing!” “Looks like stars!” Suzuka then begins to hum the lyrics while 20,000 lights are surrounding the stage. Mesmerizing.

Hi, yeah, the thing with the flag is typical of MOA, it happened a few times, most notably on the Red Night at Tokyo Dome (she's on the left in the video) 😅 The Other ONE, their new album, is a peculiar one, indeed they didn't even use their official logo on it, it's supposed to be an experiment, a concept album, the meaning of which is disputed, but IMHO is very much about them and their journey so far. I love this album, it's quite different from their previous ones, technically it's outstanding, great production, it is surprisingly coherent, given its variety. It's a roller coaster, but that's quite usual with BM, still it's overall more serious and dark than their previous ones, especially the lyrics. Best song is arguably Monochrome, of which they did a special piano version for THE FIRST TAKE, an interesting channel on KZbin, it works like this, they open the mics and start recording, good luck. It's ASMR quality 😅! 🤘🦊⚡

Same for not having a microphone when you are supposed to sing (no fancam of that one, unfortunately). Or singing the chorus of a different song. Or losing your receiver. Or walking in the wrong direction. Or losing your shoe....

People will hate me for this, but they do make mistakes they are just edited out, they are still very very good but they are human

Every band edits out the mistakes. There are actually whole videos on KZbin of mistakes made by Babymetal during shows. Including at least one that I know of where the kamiband messed up. No body is perfect. For Babymetal it just becomes a question of how few of them will they make. When they started Moa was the one to watch for mistakes. Today she's such a pro even when she makes them you may not know it happened, she's so good at covering it up. The way a true pro would. Now Momometal will have eyes on her for those mistakes. But we all make them. It will just be a question of what does she do, when it happens? Something Kawaii I'm sure will happen. lol

この曲良い曲だが、pitch高過ぎてSuのベルベットのような,同時に２人歌ってるような,一番おいしい声域から外れていると思う。この曲のベンチマークがKingslayerなんだろうけどあれにはSuの声に微かな処理を施して、ティーンエイジャーの頃の声に寄せているので魅力的な声になったが、今回はSuの声の成長もあり98点としておきます。飽くまで個人的感想ですが…。
