Ash Costume Part 2/3: The Boomstick

This is how I made Ash's gun! I just took a plastic toy gun and modified it to look more like the one from the films. Its quick, easy and its perfect for taking out deadites!

I got it from a local newsagents that sold a few toys. Was a lucky find.

Costume Forge You definitely were. I was finally able to find one online that could be shipped here. It doesn’t really look the one Ash uses at all but I’m desperate since that’s the last piece I need and Wondercon is next week 😬

this helped me a lot thank you! but, I think it would have been more secure if you feed the left shoulder strap through the holster as well. mine is almost done I just need to make well, the holster, thank you so much for showing me where each part goes and showing me how the pouch attaches. if I could I'd show you it, I'm very proud of it and I have you to thank man. keep being creative and awesome!

At 2:45 I was pinning the foam to the fabric so I could draw around it and then cut it out.
