Of all Ash’s Pokemon, Scraggy is probably the one I always forget he caught. His bond with Axew was very fun, as well as the gag with him not being able to control Focus Blast properly. I do wish he could’ve reunited Haxorus in Journeys, though I do headcanon he watched Iris’ battle against Cynthia during the Masters 8 rooting for Haxorus.

I think Scraggy was a good Pokemon and I wish it got more Screentime since it was Ash’s First Dark type and it was a shame Scraggy didn’t get a Proper Goodbye by the end of Black and White and you know when it was Struggling to Master Focus Blast I’m surprised that Iris’s Didn’t offer for Her Excadrill help Train Scraggy’s Focus Blast since he also learned it and I wish Scraggy reunited with Axew in Journeys to see he had Evolved into Haxorous next do a Video on Clemont’s Chespin next.

Scraggy being given to Iris actually sounds like a good idea. Imagine during the battle between Ash and Iris, and Ash being shocked that Scraggy is now a Scrafty and is stronger than ever. Would be an interesting battle since I think that may be the only time Ash would be battling his former pokemon in an official battle.

I love Scraggy although I wish it did better and evolved. It could’ve beeb tied to Focus blast by having him learn to focus & instill more power into his blast, transforming it into dark pulse before evolving to Scrafty.

Honestly scraggy joining iris would make sense. Of course theres axew, but also the scraggy line learns a good bit of dragon moves, are lizards and are in the dragon egg group so I can see it fitting her. It would be cool if iris caught it or if she did a trade with ash did a trade like when ash did a trade with dawn in sinnoh.

Scraggy is another showcase of why Ash having a bigger team is very detrimental to a Pokemon. Since the Unova starters and Pikachu get priority, Scraggy has to fight 4 other Pokemon (and Palpitoad I guess) for slots 5 or 6. As a result of this, his most impressive wins are a Vanillish and and the elemental monkeys. Well, at least he was still a fun presence.

As much as I liked the pokemon I just can't bring myself to like Ash's Scraggy just because of how little action it got in the anime overall, Scraggy was very much identical to Gible from Sinnoh journeys; an unevolved first-stage scrappy gremlin, added to the team relatively late into the series, barely got action due to the circumstances, and for both of them the most meaningful event was them *_mastering a very powerful move that they struggled aiming for most of the series_*

Now this little guy really made me laugh throughout BW, and quite frankly one of the only good things about said series. Similar to Snivy, Scraggy took no bs from no one, but had no self-control at first, obviously because he'd literally only just been born. I found his aggression and recklessness very amusing. He may be small but he doesn't know the meaning of fear. He goes in all guns blazing and takes no prisoners. He was perfectly compatible with Ash because his personality largely mirrors Ash's more impatient and aggressive side. They bonded more as time went on and were able to turn all that relentless aggression into a powerful and effective weapon in battle. Some might call Scraggy a petulant and bratty thug, I would call him a pokemon with much potential. Scraggy was extremely stubborn and tenacious and that's what I loved about him. Ash did a really good job of raising him. When I think of Scraggy, the first thing that comes to mind is a little something from TF2: *I'm GoNnA HeAdBuTt Ya, I'm GoNnA HeAdBuTt Ya I'm GoNnA HEADBUTT YA!*

Fun fact, ashes, scraggy is the only main character Pokémon to come from an egg to not evolve. Really ashamed too, especially when we look at what an absolute beast Axew has become. It honestly feels like it’s story was incomplete. There was no build up to it mastering focus blast, and we didn’t get to truly see it become the powerhouse that it always believed it to be ever since it hatched.

The thing about letting iris have him is man, sure an unique dragon master by not having much dragons While scraggy is fine, I think instead of it and pidove, Ash should of hatch an rufflet, would've been far interesting to not have the regional bird than in alola plus it guarantee to evolved unlike rowlet/scraggy
