When I was nine cps took me, my sister and little brother from mom because someone said she was giving crack to my one month old preemie brother. She was giving him antibiotics medicine. We spent two weeks in foster care as my mom fought the ridiculous case. Actually the foster mom was hitting me because she didn't know how to deal with an autistic kid. My mother is an special education teacher

I was the roommate of Ash, her daughter, and her then boyfriend Jose in 2017. Her daughter was 6 at the time. They posted an ad on Craigslist for a room at $300 a month . Didn't even stay the full month. I think I stayed for one week. It was absolutely insane. Yeah, Ash was just as awful to her kiddo then too. When she wasn't screaming at her kid and insulting her and worse to her, she was sleeping or drinking. They also had an absurd amount of pets. Like, bunnies, lizards, frogs, tarantulas, snakes. Cages stacked on top of each other and shoved in the living room. In the time I DID stay there, I played with her daughter a lot. Eventually I left without notice, and left a letter on the bed saying I was calling the cops on them. Never heard back again.

I have a connective tissue disorder that lowers my bone density, making my bones easier to break than the average person. I’m 23 and just in September I broke my first bone and it was a fracture in a joint in my finger because I slammed a heavy door on it 💀. The clip of Ashley dancing while her daughter is sick and literally begging for help reminds me so much of my own parents. Just a few months ago I had a really severe seizure while out of the house and asked my parents to come get me so I could be somewhere safe (I get really extreme seizure sickness afterwards and am disabled to begin with), and they outright refused because they were on the way to a party. I managed to keep my cool on the phone with them but, once I hung up, I lost it and started bawling my eyes out. Having parents blatantly show or tell you how little you mean to them, especially when you're experiencing a medical crisis, is heartbreaking and terrifying at the same time. I'm very lucky to have a wonderful chosen family, including my amazing girlfriend and our equally amazing little friend group, balancing out the neglect at home, but Ashley's children don't seem to have that and that's so upsetting. I really hope that her girls are taken somewhere safe and given the love and care they deserve, far far away from their mother.

Speaking from my own experience, I didn't even start to really process my own neglect, abuse, or trauma until I was an adult. I basically raised my younger sister, and at times it felt like we raised each other. None of my life was broadcasted to the world, and still the entire town I lived in knew everything that was happening because of living in a town with less than 500 people in it, but I cannot even imagine what it would be like to have to do it all again but online. Now, those girls are going through this and the clips are being shared and talked about by strangers and brought up again and again, and they still just have to live their daily lives. No one is doing anything for them as thousands of people are watching things happening live; I just feel so bad for those daughters

I had a mom that was completely this type of person. She was an inmate and after she got out she dated other inmates. She mostly dated people who committed theft (she also commented theft) but she also dated a PEDOPHILE. I was not around him regularly but bringing him around me at all shoulda got her arrested for child neglect or something from dcf. She manipulated me into saying I've never met him to dcf. She told me I'd never see my grandma, grandpa or uncle again. My mom also used to pull my hair til my scalp bled so people didn't see bruises on me. When dcf would check for bruises they didn't check for scabs in my scalp.

My mother dated a s3x offender ( I don't remember details about the age of the victim), let him move in and watch us when she worked, and made me and my siblings lie to CPS about being left alone with our grandfather who abus3d us. I didn't realize until I was a full adult it was because there was a restraining order against him in place for me and all my siblings. You deserved better, I hope that you can find peace and know that it is not your fault. I hope that you can heal even if it hurts sometimes, because you deserve to be healed. Best of luck to you

i think Santos is giving the run around when saying he " worked" for the military, w/o giving too much detail because he's probably (i'm assuming) done CONTRACTED jobs FOR the military. For example, my husband owns an epoxy flooring business and the military has hired him to re-do their floors. And it would be crazy if my husband, then went around saying he's WORKED for the military. So, i wouldnt be surprised if Santos will turn this around and say that is what he meant to say.
