With all due respect Solomon what Zerihun is saying is true. As a son of an Ethiopian Wingate school teacher I grew up in the compound and have witnessed most of what Zerihun is saying. Once Tilahin Gessese and the national body guard band came to the school at the end of the year and entertained the staff and students. The mood was relaxed and some students managed to dance with the wives of the British teachers. I am sure you were not old enough to join the school at that time. If you were a student during the last years of the British administration like me, I can assure you that many of the things had changed by then.

Zerihun is referring to silver jubilee celebration when kilbur zebegba orchestra entertained the school community and the alumni including solomon deressa, bereket habtesellaise, Gebrekirstos Desta and others I do not remember.
