I had a full breakdown when Ryne‘s Song played I can’t deal.. my best friend has cancer but we lost contact and our friendship and I don’t know how we can rekindle that after everything that happened between us. So it’s just so painful. Cause I’m scared one day I’ll lose him and i haven’t had the guts to check in with him.

the main theme of this album is failed marriage and abusive relationships, which Ashe has been open enough to tell her fans that it's all about her. I usually never cry to albums or the "Sad" songs, but "Always" and "Taylor" put me in my feelings every time, they are so sad man. Also "Ryne's Song" was the last song made for the album, it's about her brother that passed away, and speaks about Ashe's regrets of not saying goodbye before he left. Yes, this album is a pure masterpiece, grammy worthy, AT ALL.

She explained somewhere that she wanted to write a song about the relationship she is in now, which is a great relationship, and she really couldn’t think of anything cause she is so happy that she wasn’t able to put it into words. So instead she wrote a song about what she would do if she ever had to let him go and end their relationship. And that’s how she wrote “Always “
