Ashens would make a superb secret character in a JRPG. One only summonable by keeping the Garbage Lid Shield and Useless tier items from the starting town's junk shop or something. His own benefits would basically involve a sort of apprasial skill - finding the bits of tat that are actually useful and getting rid of cursed items by simply putting them on or eating them. [He is immune to curse, as he was once cursed by a RELIABLE REINDEER and curses cannot harm him further.] Of course he would be tougher than the endboss if you attempt to steal HIS items... because you'd be saddled with an overencumbrance of useless junk and a very clever, very resilient, very unusual fellow persistently hounding you to get his collection back...
