I wish I had a way to get the picture off of my horribly crappy old pre-paid flip phone, but a couple weeks ago I went to a seasonal store that was set up for Halloween, and I saw something that made me think of you Ashens. The store was selling decorative fake tombstones, and one of them that was all of about 8cm tall, the kicker was that at the bottom was written in capital letters, "HAUNTBD". It wasn't an error on just one, every single one had the error. Now on the Dreft thing you mentioned randomly, they sold it for a time a few months ago at the store I work at in the US. Over here it is a liquid detergent that is used for baby clothes, as it has a picture of a baby on the front and it was labeled "Newborn".

The small figurines are meant to populate decorative towns that are popular as holiday decorations. The biggest brand that I know is Department 56. Most people buy them for Christmas time, creating little picturesque towns covered in snow with electric train sets running through them. But the hardcore collectors will fill entire rooms with such towns, and keep them around all year long. You should give high-quality candy corn and rice crisipie treats a try if you get the chance. Good candy corn is made of honey and melts in your mouth, and the best rice crispie treats are made in the home. :)

What you said about dollarama: Here in Denmark, we have a store-chain called Tiger (because the coin representing 10 dkk is called a 10'er (ti'er)).. :P Back when I was a kid, even when I was a teenager, they had the store divided into two parts: The cheap front part where everything was 10 dkk, and the expensive back part where everything was 20 dkk.. :D That was good times.. ^^ At some point, stuff costing 30, 40, and even 50 dkk snuck its way into the store, and now the intire store is a mish mash of prices ranging from 10 dkk, to 200 dkk! :O They might even have more expensive stuff, but I have yet to encounter that... Also: That lamp in the end; Bach in the day, there was a much more impressive version of that.. :P It was made of metal, with shilouette cut outs, and it was loosely attatched to a candle holder.. ^^ The heat from the candle would then make it spin around! :D So you could, for instance, have a witch flying round in circles on your walls.. ^^
