Listen to that pencil case zipper threatening to disintegrate. A bad zipper is one of my biggest pet-peeves. It's so frustrating to find a potentially useful item only to discover it features a shit zipper. A well-designed plastic zipper can actually be good. But these cheap ones are clearly an afterthought from a design perspective. A shitty zipper is a tangible lie. It has all the visual iconography of a real zipper. And none of the functionality. Like, is it really *that* much to expect the slider to fit snugly, but "zip" without getting hitched on every other tooth, or somehow discovering and inhaling all nearby fabric threads? Shouldn't a bag that is past-tense "zipped-up" be reasonably secure for normal use? Or should a bookbag commit suicide at the thought of carrying its namesake. Should the teeth not actually interlock with each other in anything other than a superficial way? Even when they're new, the way the teeth just melt apart makes me feel like I'd be better off using molten chocolate as a seal. But the absolute worst aspect is the quality of the slider... these pieces of shit will literally crumble into 3 pieces during regular use of a NEW item. Even if it comes off intact, just throw the whole thing out because it's worse than useless. Never, ever depend on one of these bastards. God help you if you use one as an airplane carry-on. I guess this is just an "open bag" now... it underwent a Kafka-esque metamorphosis. I guess the Shit Zipper Lobby is very powerful because US lawmakers turn a blind eye to these slimy charlatans' crimes against humanity. Someone needs to be held accountable for my Keroppi backpack.

If I remember correctly, Arne is a Series 800 Model 101. Which means the endoskeleton is an 800 Series, and the Arnold skin is the Model 101. So all 101's look like him, but not all series 800's do. You could also have a, for instance, Series 888, Model 101, which would still look like Arne, but have an upgraded endoskeleton

I know I'm a bit late, but get a UV Black Light to test glow in the dark stuff. It 'charges' them practically instantly so you don't have to wait to check. Just yell at Errol to flip the lights off, shine the UV light, and bam, glow or no glow. While technically the NerdHQ thing was a promotional item, I wouldn't have been so quick to discount it. NerdHQ is a big event that occurs at the same time as SDCC, is completely free to enter, and does a lot of charity work via "Conversations for a cause". Is run by Zachery Levi (Chuck), and every year they put on some fantastic shows. In my opinion, they deserve some publicity.

I'd be drilling a little hole in that Endoskull and filling it with some sort of ballast. That way it would be a decent paper weight and generally feel nicer. Also, I feel like that mouse mat had some sort of stretching damage on the fold that would annoy me endlessly in use.

Wow I am pretty shocked... when Stuart mentioned his new scoring system I immediately assumed that we were about to see the death of Loot Crate on Ashens... especially when he clarified that they had to score at least a three. But wow... not just surviving, but actually getting damn near a clean sweep... I was not expecting that in the slightest. I respect his semi-impartial grading system as well... it's not just dumb tat that gets a minus, but specifically stuff that's very obviously just an advertisement disguised as free merchandise.

If you've not seen Blade Runner in the last 15 years then definitely give the Final Cut a watch. The additional polish and edits really do make a difference. Still considering a Tyrrell Corp logo tattoo to go with my origami unicorn...
