I remember, when I was a child, having this little handheld fishing game in the shape of a tiny fishing rod that actually worked quite well. I could keep myself entertained for hours, despite it being one of the most ridiculous, cheap games you could get. Actually, it was pretty nifty. There was an actual crank on the side of the tiny rod where you could reel up the fish, and you had to actually do the motion of launching the hook to launch it in the game. I actually gave it a little play a year ago, and it still works, even though I've never even changed the batteries in it.

i was actually surprised at how surprisingly good the animation quality was when you kick a goal or get shot in the face; it seems far better than anything released on any handheld prior to the gba.

The sound was really amazing for... well... that. Also, the Gunfight game seems to have some hit zones. At least it seemed to me that the guys had a different animation when shot in the legs sometimes.

+mysticblaz e and the PS4 controller is way better with the motion sensor as well as the touch pad which should prove very useful to horror game devs for example Until Dawn which used both the motion sensor and touch pad ....motion sensor especially in which the slightest move would have your head get ripped off with no way to go back and stop your mistake because the whole point of the game is once one of the teens die they are DEAD there are no save states,no save stations,no save anything just a auto-save in which you cant even load up previous autosaves only continue from the one that happened from before you quit the game o it's like a Halloween movie or Friday the 13th movie ....Friday the 13th especially with the campground like environment still once someone died you cant get them back it just goes to the survivors that are left and by the end you can either have everyone live except for one person that no matter what he has a horrible fate come to him or have some people die and some survive or everyone dies and no survivors .................unless you pussy out like Markiplier who restarted the whole game after Ashley i think died which pussied out of the whole point of the game

Objectified Cross true but some games are meant for only a single console and knowing how the kinnect flopped big time i myself would hate to see Xbox try adding a touchpad to the controller or a built in motion sensor but still Until Dawn is an amazing concept of a horror genre game done perfectly it builds up with a supposed psycho killer then you find out the truth about the "psycho killer" then you find out the dangers of the mountain but it gives you clues throughout the coarse of the game about the presence of wendigos but you dont find out what they are until Josh revels the "psycho killer" was all a prank to get back at his friends for his sister's deaths or should i say his sisters death because only one died the other turned into a Wendigo herself and by the end pretty much no stone is left unturned well...except for what the outcome for them releasing all the wendigo spirit's is going to be.....that would probably be in a sequel which the devs asked about on twitter but still when you do motion sensor and touchpads right they make an amazing way to do horror games

It's probraly a screen with a too high resolution for the processor to handle, so they just programmed it to take 4 pixels as 1.

I opened one up once (not this one, it has a menu instead of the bumps system). What I found on the inside is that the hardware is actually 48x32 like the original GameKing, but each pixel is shaped like four pixels, in the same way a POP Station pixel might be shaped like a game character.

Those really did look like men's hands in cooked turkeys. Hahaha. On topic; this unit really isn't terribly bad. Lets take most of the earlier POPstations reviewed in which they barely even worked thanks to the changeable games. This also isn't a terrible LCD screen akin to the old Tiger Electronics handhelds. There's actual animations and sound effects. It's not something I would willingly purchase, mind you, but it is a half decent unit compared to other shit produced by China.

I didn't turn off the lights because I'm worried about the environment; I turned them off because it fits the dark colour of the player and feels easier on my eyes. c:
