To be honest I've always loved Ashfield as a character- he's amazing and has such a tormented and twisting path. Honestly a writers dream character as he has much depth!

Ashfur is stupid. Remember Thrushpelt? He loved Bluestar. She had Oakheart's kits, and Thrushpelt knew they weren't his. But he didn't go crazy over the fact that she didn't love him. He wanted her to be happy and cared for the kits as if they were his own. He loved Bluestar so much that he put her needs before his. He didn't even ask who the father was. He also didn't TRY TO KILL HER KITS. Now, let's compare that with Ashfur. He loved Squirrelflight. She had Brambleclaw's kits. Ashfur went crazy because of this and tried to kill her kits. No, let me rephrase that. *_He tried to burn her kits alive._*

Squirrleflight never had Kits!!!!!!!! they were Leafpool's!!!!!!! Squirrleflight took them in as her own because, Leafpool was a medicine cat, and their not allowed Kits!!!!!!! Ashfur tried to kill them out of pure jealousy!!! because He loved Squirrleflight, but Squirrleflight loved Brambleclaw/star!!! and that's all I'm gonna say!!!!

She lied to Ashfur to prevent him from burning her kits alive. Do you really think she doesn't care about them because they're not her kits? The very reason she said that was because she _would_ be hurt by their deaths, and she definitely didn't want Ashfur to harm them. Rather than taking everything literally, stop and consider each piece of writing with an open, logical mind. Then you won't be confused in future.

+Miriam EH Squirrelflight was actually really nice to Ashfur about not having feelings for him. She even offered to remain friends. But then Ashfur started whining about how Brambleclaw had poor upbringing and _that's_ when she reacted badly. Seriously, Ashfur is the guilty party here. Loving someone is no excuse for trying to ruin everything they love just because they don't return it.

idk y but sometimes i think that photoshop cheats from painting o3o cuz i have paint or ms paint (or watever u call it) cuz photoshop has all that shading n new layers n all of that n regular paint doesnt have that so u have to figure out how to shade n everything witch i think is more fun cuz to me photoshop is a LIL confusing with all those tools like the magic wand. i like it but i like paint better- my opinion :l
