Thank you for watching!!! My next project is to try and figure out the rotary tool for this machine. I’ve done it once but it seemed so hard 🫠 there has to be a simpler way.

Great information, and such a cool advantage. It will be interesting to see how it holds up over time.

This will be a good test on how well this stuff holds up.

Thank you for your tutorial!! Also, I have been setting my honeycomb on top of the base....is that ok??
@ashleefalcoАй бұрын
as long as it's not sitting on top of the prisms you should be fine. But I now have the riser base so I can just place it right in the rise base.

@@ashleefalco thank you! This is my first laser and I am having a hard time finding product specific tutorials! Most things are for the M1, even the manuals that come with the product!
@ValYo0623Ай бұрын
@@StarrMom2 I’ve noticed this same problem. Not a lot of tutorials out there for this specific machine. That’s why I’m SOOOOO grateful for Ashlee! She explains everything IN DETAIL!

Do you heat the sublimated item at all after?
@ashleefalcoАй бұрын
I didn't sublimate anything in this video ?
@cartercustomdesignАй бұрын
@ashleefalco I thought you said you printed on a sublimation coaster! Was just wondering if heating it would help make the color last longer.
@ashleefalcoАй бұрын
@@cartercustomdesign I did print on a sublimation coaster using the ink jet ink. Sorry for the confusion but I didn’t do anything to prep the item or afterwards.

Ashlee, you are the very, very, VERY BEST at explaining EVERYTHING that goes into a project like this! I am so afraid to do something wrong and waste my material, but you are making me confident to get out there and DO IT!!! Thank you a bazillion times for explaining your steps IN DETAIL!! 🫶🤩👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Is it true that this equipment has to be connected all the time and that you have to clean it every day and use it every day?
@ashleefalco3 ай бұрын
I'm assuming you mean the ink cartridge? If you are: I don't use it everyday. Be sure to always put the housing topper back on your ink cartridge so it doesn't dry out. But if you forget, you can soak it in a bit of water and it'll come back to life. Also, if you did put it on and all the ink isn't showing, taking a dry Kleenex to the bottom and wipe will clear the ink cartridge. I haven't had any issues with my cartridge and I'm still on my first one.

Have you been able to print on a frosted acrylic? I want to do a photo on frosted acrylic for a in loving memory "sign" at a wedding.

I haven’t but it’d be the same effect as the clear acrylic I did.

Can you laser cut white acrylic on the m1 ultra?
@ashleefalcoАй бұрын
@@carolwaller9605 with the 20w laser, I've seen others be able to do it. I haven't tried personally though.
@STher-k9tАй бұрын
@@carolwaller9605 yes, but I used the two tone white to black acrylic that xtool sells. I tried buying something that was off brand, and I made a huge mistake because it was way too thick to cut thru or to engrave. Once the xtool 3mm sheets came in, I was able to make name placards and used the cut setting (100 for power, 35 for speed and 9 passes. That was just for that material though and it took a bit of tweaking. I did end up lightly sanding all the edges so they were smooth. I also have the 20W ultra. Hope that helps!
