As a Norwegian I know Aurora well. The Warning brings me back to the early 80s, when I started my rock/ hard rock journey. I have almost no knowlege of music from mid 90s to the summer of 2024. That is when I discovered the Warning. I found my old school rock again and I have opened my mind that my kind of music is still alive and kicking🤘

KMF is such a creative record. I didn't know what to think of it until they released the whole thing and we got Six Feet Deep, Satisfied, and Sharks. As we all know, their music really comes to life when they do it live. I can't wait for the pro-recorded vids of their live shows coming up in Mexico which I hope are released Spring 2025. You're so fortunate to see one of their big shows there!.

Thank you for introducing me to so much good music this year. I spent a long time listening to old, tried-and-true favorites from when I was around your age or younger - until I discovered The Warning. And for a period I listened only to TW. But after a while, I began checking out stuff that other reactors were covering and I picked up some other bands. And of course, you're on that list of reactors, too. Thanks for sharing your Top Ten list! It's interesting to see what clicked for you this year compared to my favorites. I find it almost impossible to rank order artists, I tend to just group them based on how much of their catalog I like. 💯 on your picks for TW and FTF. Both those groups were new to me this year, and I'm a die hard fan now. They're in the "not just no bad songs, but every song is great" group for me 😁. For the rest of your list, I've heard of about half and the other half is new to me, so I'll check those out. The two other new groups that just blew me away this year are Larkin Poe and Dea Matrona. I know you've reacted to LP a couple of times, but they didn't seem to really click for you; honestly, the songs were kind of deeper cuts that I wouldn't have recommended to a new listener. If you're still interested in them, give their new release, Mockingbird (kzbin.info/www/bejne/lZfFhp5mmLBgaac) a shot, or maybe one of their stripped down covers, like Sweet Home Chicago (kzbin.info/www/bejne/nHeVd6Vvbbxjnc0). Dea Matrona is a pair of Irish ladies in a bit more rock/folk genre. Great harmonies, solid lyrics, and they both play guitar and bass. I agree with you about Escapism cuz that song and Automatic Sun are my favorites on KMF. I didn't want to like From Zero but it's just objectively a great album. My favorite metalcore band Fit For A King released a new single a few months ago that features the vocalist I guess for The Plot In You. My top 5 releases this year were: Lovebites EP 2, Clancy by TOP, Keep Me Fed by The Warning, Thrones by Freeze The Fall, and Holiness Cries EP by Bloodlines. My honorable mentions would be: From Zero, Yesterwynde by Nightwish and Epic Narratives by Band-Maid.

My copy of 21st century Blood cd is in-route and now they need to put QOTMS in their store again which as soon as it is me buy ... don't buy vinyl at this time I live by the RR and it shakes the crap out my house my table is a floating one vintage 1978 Phillips 312 and it is packed away but someday PS my vinyl collection is mostly classic rock it's packed away too, old music kind of puts me to sleep although I do have a choice few might be hard to find albums (import copy of Heart Magazine with a disclaimer on the back) KZbin and reaction channels has turned me on to quite a few newer bands like TW and Dead poet society amongst some others mostly European bands (Nightwish/Within Temptation)

2025. You need to see Freeze The Fall, and you need to see them at The Broken Hearts Club in Crown and Thieves winery. You can't even imagine how great this venue is. 1920's prohibition era styled lounge that holds about 120 people.

Love your top 10! I would place BMTH first. It's soo good. Aurora second and probably Billie on third. The rest I have no clue. Too hard to choose, and it's a couple i haven't listened to. LOL Since you love Bring Me The Horizon... I've seen some people ask if you can react to SIGRID. She wrote a song called "Bad Life" with Oli from BMTH. He's singing with her in the music video, and there's an acoustic version with them from VEVO. Sigrid is Norwegian and has actually been a close friend of Aurora since they were teenagers. She's in the "Nothing Is Eternal" documentary about Aurora that you reacted to.🙂 She has an amazing voice, and just like Aurora she's not afraid to be 100% herself. I cracked up when you said it started with wanting to be a MuchMusic VJ. Growing up in Detroit, we shared a lot of channels and radio stations with Canada. I very much grew up watching MuchMusic, MTV and VH1. Billie's album was actually my #2 album of the year. It really came out of nowhere for me, but it's an amazing album. I also have one song on the album that I don't like, and it's probably the most popular song. 😂

I knew the warning would be #1 ;) Still I believe Error is there finest work yet but all the albums are very good. I just got the black friday limited error vinyl, it did however cost me nearly 200$ because of Ebay, shipping and customs..
