Not necessarily. Sometimes after a traumatic, emotional event one can get to where their tear ducts just dry up, and all you have left is facial contortions that are actually painful. Having said that, I looked closely and saw tears pooling up in the crease under her eye bags.

She was only 24 - we all have done stupid things and took silly decisions, or stopped about on time when we had the right family and loving people around! No reason to judge her for her choice then, being part of the past. The reality is that she was abused, at least psychologically if not also threatened and injured physically, and her dog was abused, so the victim family should also cut some slack to her and look into this a bit more closely. Dirty cloths were not washed outside clearly. And when you are a young mother left to deal with a huge man like that you act irresponsibly??? Yes you do, it’s a surviving mechanism!

That PR move backfired, because his mother had just passed away- so the public thought she came across as heartless. Her next strategy was to take out a restraining order on him (while he was out of the country), paint a bruise on her face, and alert TMZ. Thus began the public’s perception of Depp vs Heard.

Yeah… everyone is like I don’t believe her and maybe her sheer unlikeability will do her in. But for me it’s a tough case and the defence has done pretty well from what I’ve seen. The trouble for her is that even with all that abusive background the incident itself, running a box into her and gesticulating and so forth, doesn’t seem to warrant lethal force. Maybe they can give her second degree or excessive self defence or something

Interesting when she is not on the stand, she has her hair up, face totally exposed, of course no make up, but when she is on the stand she has literally behind a curtain of hair. Doug was going her sugar daddy, a home owner, income through pregnancy, retirement one way or another. She trapped him, when he wanted to get together again she thought, Do I have to put up with him to get everything I wanted, too much work, I don't think so!". So she found a way to get rid of him. For a ballerina, her victim posture is created for a visual effect. She is not sorry, relieved, but now the acting has to be convincing to get the pay off.

I believe her. He seems completely unhinged. He shot a gun in their house during an argument, punched a dog in the face, those text messages they exchanged during the cruise...him attacking her wouldn't exactly be shocking. He obviously can't control his emotions. Those cruise text messages he sent were completely batsh*t crazy. He seems like a person who could easily fool all those around him into believing that he's this great guy, but underneath is this..rage (for a lack of a better word). The way the media has told this story truly had me believing she was guilty way before trial even started. This is the perfect example of media twisting the story to fit their narrative/make it more appealing/interesting to draw in more viewers.

I hope she appeals. I think it was self defense. She was a ballerina. He had studied martial arts, which probably explains his arm movements and his side stance; hence the path of the bullet from front right of his upper torso to back left. He could have taunted her because he didn't believe she would pull the trigger. Her description matches that scenario. There didn't seem to be any inconsistencies, and certainly no changing of her story that I noticed. Additional details can be remembered after time has gone by. Her stoicism could be due to the fact that she has been under a cloud of suspicion, and her in-laws not supporting her. These are very difficult cases for juries to judge. God knows the truth, and eventually He will either judge, or all parties have or will obtain forgiveness from Him, so that it is reckoned as having been paid for by Jesus Christ, as far as judgment after life is concerned. But society has to deal with such unknowns; so, when it comes to her life and or freedom being in jeopardy, I prefer the original American value of trust in God to take vengeance, if someone is guilty; but a society is better off to let 100 guilty people go free than if they convict one innocent person. God will judge a society that does not value life and freedom properly.

This is the defense’s plan and coaching because she is facing serious charges which will give her time in prison if convicted.. She is definitely scared about what she faces. Trauma is there….she actually destroyed a life not once but four times. Wouldn’t he be knocked down after one time? Why four? She could have ran after the first time if she were that frightened imo. Testifying has to be an emotional roller coaster no doubt.

He did hit her, they had a pic of her face, but what she said was, he had never hit her before, but that doesn't mean there was never abuse before. I have been in abusive relationships, and hitting isn't the only type of domestic violence. There is evidence that he had thrown the dog down the stairs, threw things at her, called her names, yelled at her in an intimidating way. That is abuse.

@@reikilady771 it is a claim, I saw the picture saying she had some slight swelling on cheeks which to be honest I couldn't see, seemed like a stretch if you have actually seen a battered face before. This is why prosecution presented her photos prior to the day of the murder as a reference. No where was it proven beyond reasonable doubt he hit her. This is exactly why I stay away from toxic individuals no matter what. As a man you get angry once then everyone labels you as abusive. Time and time again even his daughter testified that she often complained and kept talking her husband into frustration.

For me the fact is he did admit in text he got the gun and shot at her. He knocked the dog out, who does that? To the dog? He had anger issues, couldn't control himself. They are oil and water clearly. The 30 age year gap, his wife JUST died. 9 months is not long enough to be ready to remarry. And he picked a young naive girl who was certainly impressionable. But the media is painting her out like some temptress, this was all in his power and control. He had no reason to marry if he didn't want it. His ex wife's texts showed he was an abusive husband, a user, a liar.....so a leopard doesn't change it's spots. I'm sure he was desperate and his daughter said when she left him the note that it was over he cried the same way he cried at her mom's funeral. People who know him can say she's a liar but those text messages are not fake. He admitted to shooting at her. So it isn't far fetched to think she's afraid for her life. Remember they had several guns.

THANK YOU!!! Finally, a voice of reason. He was completely unhinged, and it's amazing how people brush past all of it as if it's irrelevant. 'But he's such a good man' is something most family/friends say when they find out their loved one is an undercover abuser. The media had me assuming she was guilty before the trial even started due to the way they worded the situation. They completely sensationalized it to get more viewers watching. However, seeing it play out in court -- it's clear to me that she is not guilty.
