What a privilege to hear some of the finest intellectuals in the world on foreign policy.? This would be unthinkable just a decade back, to listen, hear and enjoy such programs, unless one was part of the foreign policy inner circle. JS is so nuanced and a very wise man. People tend to forget that this gent was bought in a as Cabinet Minister as EAM, A role reserved for decades to some senior party functionary, who had to be appeased, and had rudimentary knowledge of foreign affairs. Kudos to PM Modi for that, Infact NSA, EAM all part of the cabinet is a first timer. If one considers other people in his cabinet and their professional track records, , Modi's cabinet could indeed be the finest in the world today, in terns of sheer talent competance and relatively clean backgrounds. 🙏

We should have not allowed American think tank in india

A reminder that America has also allowed an Indian think tank, Observer Research Foundation, to open a chapter in Washington DC, headed by (surprise, surprise) Dhruva Jaishankar. It is a sensible idea to have greater Indian presence in Washington DC so as to further India's interests and if some US think tanks want to open shop in India, well so be it.
