This was great, I been tryin to find out about "how can i become more flexible for yoga?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Fonylan Inconceivable Future - (do a google search )? It is an awesome exclusive guide for discovering how to get your sexiest body minus the headache. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my mate got excellent success with it.

I know, right? Thank you! I could try to re-make it now that I'm much better with my video presence. The content would be the same, though. The PDF has been updated. But it's still all the same. :)

I remember watching this video when I was a practitioner and just loving to listen to her... understanding close to nothing. As a beginning yoga teacher I must say she has a way of making things simple. PLUS, talk is good, but demonstration - especially the way this girl effortlessly moves into poses- is powerful. I wish I could attend her classes ... to steal some of her wisdom. NAMASTE

Hi Ashley, Truly, thank you for the generosity of taking the time to share this very helpful, simplification yoga sequencing. In my mind, as a student of over 22 years under Bryan Kest and Vytas and Anaswara, never have I given thought to the art of sequencing, until I wish to teach to Children recovering from child prostitution and are in reform. In my mind, sequencing might as well have been advanced algebra, (which I failed beginning algebra 3 times!). With your 10-steps guide... today in class, I could easily identify what my teacher was doing in the sequence. Your guide has helped me tremendously. Thank you ever so much... -sherri

Love love love this lesson! I'm half way through my YTT and they've barely mentioned sequencing, so I was starting to panic. This made me feel so much better and makes me feel like it's doable, and something I can learn! Have you done a video on how you practiced cueing while teaching as a beginner?
@CatherineParksMusic2 жыл бұрын
Why didn’t they teach this in my yoga teacher training. So grateful for you and this video! Namaste 🙏
@AshleyHagen2 жыл бұрын
I don't know. It's a shame. Sequencing is not a required topic for yoga alliance. But I am actually a little grateful that it isn't taught in a lot of YTTs because it became the base for my online business. I saw a need and started teaching more simple sequencing techniques. It's been fun! This old video is still relevant and I still share it with people all the time. :)

Ashley Hagen - Ashes Yoga well In the class it doesn’t break it down visually like you did either for the sequencing part. Online is way harder to actually ask a question and get a response like in person (not complaining just a statement ) so for you to do this and make it visual is 👌🏾👌🏾

Hi! I'm so glad this video was helpful for you. I get that a lot. I'm not sure why my class formatting style is so helpful. Perhaps it's because I really struggled with it in the past.
