I really need to get into a routine like this. I feel like I’ve been all over the place lately. The other day I asked God to force me out of bed while I was lying there. Not even half a minute later, our indoor birds went crazy and wouldn’t shut up 😆 so I had no other choice.

Hello Ashley! A few minutes ago I was starting to watch this video when I got a notification that you started a livestream on instagram. I was watching it and told you about it, you read it and in this livestream you talked about choosing life today. I love when this happens, when god speaks to me through stuff like this, because this morning I decided to get back on track with reading in the bible ( I neglected it the last few days) and so I chose life this morning. And now in the video you said you are currently reading Luke and guess what, that was the book I finished a few days ago when I stopped reading the bible. It’s like god is telling me to get back on the „holy track“. 💗💗💗lot’s of love and blessings!

I was so excited when it started getting light out at 5:30. I hate getting up before I see daylight. And then a month later we had the daylight savings change :( I'm back to square one now. Oh well. Before long it will be light again when I have to get up for work. Your videos make it easier Ashley. I just play your morning routine videos on repeat after I'm done listening to my audio Bible. Thank you for sharing this very real version of your morning with us. I have hip and foot pain from time to time, and I've found that on those days where my hips are hurting, I do hip and body stretches and my pain goes away. Sis Ashley, your discipline and zeal for the things of the Lord are admirable. You’ve encouraged me at being consistent w/ waking up at 5 am (most days, haha). However, there’s one thing I caution you to be careful about. A simple thing as calling coffee “holy juice”, as innocent and well-intentioned as it may be, can come off as disrespectful to the things of the Lord and as idolatry. I think many of us, at some point have depended (whether we’ve acknowledged it or not) on caffeinated drinks to get our day going (most of us in this country) but truly, our dependence should be on God alone :) which you already know! I literally just ordered the power to change right before watching this video! I have started working on waking up early at least once a week. I mainly do it to workout but I felt convicted that I put my energy into exercising to feel better physically but not doing more spiritually so trying to create that balance. Thank you for sharing.

I love my mornings now, I don’t get up at 5 though more like 4 because I open my daycare at 6:30 and need my quiet time with god while I drink my pre workout and at least 30-45 mins in the gym and then quickly get ready when I get home at 6:15
