The most important thing is that Christianity is not an aesthetic or a trend, it's a lifestyle that is often not very pretty, especially for those who haven't had the closest relationship with God recently. It's perfectly okay, and often beneficial to romanticize Christianity, it can help you to get past the inevitable struggles but to pretend that it's perfect and always glamorous is simply a lie I do really like this video and you gave lots of great advice

I am so happy I found this video! I’m 14 years old and I recently started getting closer and buliding a relationship with God and I have never felt better. I think back to when I wasn’t a Christian and I realized how unhappy I was but now I feel so much happier. The speech about “finding yourself” I relate to so much. Just remember be loving. But don’t come into agreement with lies, that’s one way to give the Devil a foothold. Look into Christian apologetics, but remember where a lot of Christian apologetics fails, is the most important part, truly help them feel loved. Try to renew the mind Daily with Scripture and Prayer on your own. Some great additional resources would be “answers in genesis“ and “Ray Comfort” and for pop-culture apologetics “off the Krib Ministries.” “bible project” is a great thing to watch before you start reading a chapter of the Bible. “Sergio and Rhoda and Israel” are a fun way to learn about history/geography from a cute couples travel blog.

With modesty follow your convictions from God, but don’t make rules around rules for other people who have not had those convictions yet, that’s what the Pharisees did to people. That’s not to say you can’t explain the benefits of modesty to another person. The only rules I would say is probably be really careful with swimsuits, shorts, and things that could show chest because of how gross some people at the beach can be as they go just to look at young girls 🤢. Personally I wear what’s called a tankini with a tankini skirt, still easy to go to the bathroom, but it doesn’t actually show your mid drift but I know lots of modest girls that feel an athletic swimsuit is a modest swimming suit and again it’s up to them and their family, but obey your parents if they’re telling you they think you should wear a T-shirt or shorts and don’t feel pressured by anyone that you have to wear a string bikini, such as if your parents are the opposite side of the spectrum and buy you one. God will never ask you to compromise. You will save so much time and money if you just buy modest to start with. Try thrifting for it and have fun!

I really relate to this! I’ve only been a Christian for a few months but I’ve learned so much! I’m changing and I’m continuing to grow my confidence in God and my family knows I’ve changed and my Christian parents are proud that I’m following their advice in reading the Bible and getting healthier. I used to be very depressed, anxious and unhealthy and I would get in a lot of trouble with people, leading up to attempting a suicide. I felt it in my soul saying, “Don’t do it, something is coming.” but I ignored it and just wanted everything to end. Luckily, it didn’t work❤That is the ONLY time I was proud of failing something, now I’m extremely focused on failing the devil. I can’t give into him again and I’ll bring others with me. I can’t see my family being dragged down with him.

I was a drug addict at 16, dealt with toms of childhood trauma and baggage I carried with me everywhere. When I found God, little by little He started breaking down barriers, tearing down walls that were guarding my heart. The Bible says to guard our heart, which we need to do!! But if you guard your heart too fiercely you can even guard it from God. That was my problem. I guarded my heart from God and I couldn’t be vulnerable with Him. God is still slowly working through me every day but I quit pills I was taking and have been sober for years! I’m now 21 and am getting my life on track still :) know that things take time. Don’t try to rush God’s purpose for you, because His timing is perfect. Sometimes we want to rush being “that” Christian girl, which I know I wanted to, but these things can take time and practice and we get better as we go! Stay determined sisters in Christ, and I promise you God leads you where you need to be. Something I say to myself is five feet ahead. Always look five feet ahead but don’t try to see ahead of it because you never know where God is taking you. As long as you look five feet ahead on the path, He will clear that path for you!! I hope this encouraged someone if they see it :)

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I am almost 14 and I have been recently struggling with my mornings and I didn’t talk to God as much. I would just wake up and feel horrible and I didn’t know why. I would sleep for a really long time and since I’m homeschooled I would wake up really late and just finish school at like 8 pm. I was trying to find myself for a long time. My room would always be dirty and my life was just a MESS even though I am a clean freak and like everything organized. Also my dad left to Hawaii a couple months ago and I haven’t seen him for a while and I miss him A LOT!😭😭and I think that’s what also caused all of this. This is probably my favorite video ever! This gave me comfort, I guess. I try to find myself and I try to incorporate God into it, but some days I can't. With my schedule being full almost every day, when I have free time I just want to get on my phone and do mindless things. I try to do things off my phone but then I figure out I can't do it anymore because I have a small attention span (because of my phone). I'm glad to say I watched this video all the way through with little distractions (checking my phone at the most 3 times). This video helped me figure out that I need to read the Bible instead of going on to my phone in the mornings. Give 10 minutes of my morning to God through prayer and just worshiping Him. I just want to thank you for this, because now, I know I don't have to be like the rest of the world. I can be what God wants me to be. I always knew that, but now I certainly *know* it.

The tip i’m definitely i’m using is reading the bible more and making it a priority. I’m closer to God when i spend time in His word and journal where i am at spiritually and how He is moving in my life. i like the idea of gratitude walks. I have a prayer journal, where i write out what i am anxious about and lay it all at the foot of the cross and praise Him for the things He has done and i am grateful for. Basically what you do in those prayer walks, but in a journal. Again, I really hope i can encourage you in saying that God is using you for His perfect purpose and He has everything in His hands. You are in my prayers! Continue saying yes to why He has called you to do!! ❤️❤️❤️

When It comes to spending time with those who can draw you closer to God. I’ve been calling that a “ social cleanse” in my daily life I work with other people who aren’t all going to believe in the same things as I do and won’t have a walk with the Lord. I go to a church young adult group every Thursday night. Helps to encourage me to keep walking with the Lord. And it’s so refreshing being able to fellowship with young people who are hungry for God and have a desire to follow Him and do what He calls us to do.

I am so blessed and happy to have found your channel! I had no idea where to begin, but I am so excited to get into a routine that is centered first upon the Lord. Honestly,I don't know how I found this video, I was just searching for a lot of stuff and I just stumbled upon your channel. And I just subscribed. The oart I'm most excited to do is prayer walks or bible study dates because going on walks overall alone gives me time to calm myself down and have some time to think about things in a nice space, so I'm probably most excited about doing that. GIRL! This is exactly how I feel about health, eating, etc. I feel so alone though because theres hardly any of my friends (EVEN in the church) that eat to glorify Him. Im nearly 40 and I literally have only known one person to eat like me and hes a super BIG name Dr. and old friend. I feel so alone in this! How do you connect with people who see the same in scripture (with being up before dawn-Prov 31, eating, etc). Love this! Thanks for these videos!

Finding Godly friends is actually THE HARDEST thing you’ve mentioned to do. Finding Christian friends with similar experiences and goals is harder than it should be. I don’t know if it’s my position and where I live, or what… but I haven’t been able to find solid believers who make good friends since I was 18 😅
