Ash I don't know if you will read this, but currently I am in a very hard season. Going to spiritual warfare, believing the enemy's lies and I'm very unmotivated to read my Bible. I don't pray often but the rare times this happens I feel like God is listening to me and He is answering my prayers through your videos. For example I struggle to read The Bible and now you post this video about how to read The Bible, I am struggling with being lukewarm and you posted a video about that. This is exactly what I told my husband today. We’ve been fasting this January and spending time with God in the word and through prayer everyday. And let me tell you, I’ve been a Christian since I was 10 years old and I have never felt the Holy Spirit like I have just today. It was so sudden like a lightbulb and we are so on fire for the Lord. As a Christian and Bible study leader, I recently moved across the country, and I’ve been praying that God would use me here. I have made some friends who are brand new to the Bible. I know that it’s important to explain to them, but couldn’t put it into words. Your channel has helped me so much in my journey closer to god as a teen! I live in a Christian household, but I've never really sat down and read the bible, but when I have I always got frustrated that I didn't undertstand what was being said. Not only that, but I hated waking up early for anything but volleyball but now even during summer, even on difficult days I always read the bible in the morning even if I'm a little late and spend at least 30 minutes with God and I'm already seeing changes! Oh my gosh I love this It really does change you I started reading the Bible about two or three weeks ago I really wanted to get in his word and so I started off with a book of Proverbs cuz my mom said that would be the easiest one two days ago I finished the first book in the Bible proverbs huge accomplishment I had to change my routine significantly to fit in my Bible reading time because that's something important to me and that's something I value so I wake up at 5:10 in the morning I do my hair and makeup then it turns to like 5:25 then I get up go brush my teeth then go make my bed then I go fill up my ice water take my ADHD medication come back get dressed and then go into my prayer closet room and see my biblical affirmations and read out my goals and just pray to God that's my more I just pray pray pray I read the verse of the day and then at about 5:50 I'm done with all that and I go sit on the couch from about 5:50 to about 6:15 I sit and read the word of God It's truly been amazing to start my day with Jesus and it gives me peace and confidence while I'm getting ready I listen to music that glorifies the Lord and I have not been the same and never will be The prayer that I say before I read the Bible goes like this courtesy of Joel Osteen from Lakewood Church Houston for these words this is my Bible I am what it says I am I have what it says I have I can do what it says I can do today I will be taught the word of God My mind is alert my heart is receptive I will never ever ever ever be the same in Jesus name Amen I can't believe I used to not read the Bible I'll never go back to not reading it It is truly changed me and I love the Bible I read it morning and night so everyday a total of 50 minutes on the Bible about 20 to 30 minutes in the morning and about 20 to 30 minutes at night And you inspired me to read the Bible so thank you Ash you had to continue to have helped me so much in my walk with God and I couldn't have done it without you

You know, I came across this thing on Facebook where they post a scripture for each day of the month. It was helpful, but there were times when I didn't fully understand some of the verses or chapters. Then I decided to start praying before reading it, as then you confirmed it in this video that that’s the best way to do it. I really want to study the Bible the right way. I'm not dwelling on my past, but my life has always been chaotic, and as I'm getting older, I want to draw closer to Him. My family has always had faith in God, but I never took it seriously until now. I also want to express my gratitude to my coworker for sharing your video with me. I've been continuing reading my Bible in a Year with the Zach Windahl Bible Study (Youth Edition) as well as your November Bible reading challenge through the Book of Proverbs, I just finished in the Zach Windahl Study of reading the Book of Psalms and I'm now on Ecclesiastes. On Sunday, I got baptized at my church that I've been attending for a year now and serving at on Worship for a year now as well as a Vocalist and it was so moving, I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit and when I came back up, it was just pure joy. Your faith is so awe-inspiring! Thank you for your authenticity! You have inspired me to read my Bible first thing every single morning as well as do my daily-devotional (I use a book called God Calling and as a Baptism gift, I was gifted Jesus Calling: The Notetaking Edition by Sarah Young by my sister which I cannot wait to start in January!) When I first was scared about making friends as a young adult within going to my church's young adult ministry called the Porch, I prayed earnestly to the Lord and your video about how to be in Godly community and make friends popped up and I immediately watched, felt so moved, and subscribed. You have been an inspiration to me every step of my faith journey! I also do a devotional plan every morning from the YouVersion App and my church also has an app with daily gratitude, prayer request community, and Daily Devotionals with a journaling feature!

Hi. My names James. Im a 13 year old male who struggles with same sex attraction, anxiety, etc and keeps falling into sin. One night I found a picture of god in my closet. I didn't believe him at the time so I sort of just tossed him aside of me. Later that night..something happened. It was like a switch turned on. I started believing god and I started to want a bible and to hear god. Reminder this all happened in one day lol. I grew up Baptist, so I was exposed to the Bible from an early age. I started reading the Bible more during the pandemic, as a way of coping with things. I read probably 1 to 1 and a half hours a day, 5 days a week. I read three chapters from three different books of the bible, old and new testament. I also read as a daily devotional, isaiah 58, John 15, Psalms 27, 121 and 91. I pray for my family, loved ones, even my enemies. I pray for peace and love for the world ❤😂

I tend to think if you are used to reading books, go to a Chronological Bible. Wow you see how GOD worked things in for HIS glory in the daily things. It is far easier to read it as a story, then you can dive in and make it all come together. It is great to read and know the timeline. Just my two cents. So, basically I really needed this. Also a tip for new Christians: it may be a good idea to read the letters in the new testament (James, Romans etc) before you read the old testament because otherwise it can get a little confusing

A tip for those who are trying to be consistent with their goals is to try journaling!! This might look like you writing down all the days left in the month and next to each day writing your goals for those days and putting a box next to it for each day!! If you have things you don’t want to do like sins or addictions, you could write down what you don’t want to do for each day and put a box next to it (I prefer this to be in a red pen or any color that hasn’t been written in for the page. This is mostly just a personal choice.) Let’s say your goal is to pray everyday, say you prayed on the 2nd day of the month. You would check it off for the 2nd day of the month. However, what if you didn’t want to watch social media all month and you might have watched it on the 1st? You would check the box off for the day you did it. I can’t guarantee this will work, but I can say if you want to change for The Lord’s Will and The Lord’s Vision and you Truly Love The Lord Your God, the chance of you succeeding is very high!! Amen!! 🙏☺️

Hii, a really good commentary is the bible ref, you can look for the explanation of a chapter and you can look up for the meaning of every single verse or the context of the passage (i guess) and you can look for summary of the books, even though not all the books are there yet, it still preatty Good, it is in spanish and english, i don't know if it is in another idiom but you can check.
