Their dad is the founder and CEO of Westgate resorts, properties. These kids were brought up by a couple of Vietnamese nannies and have zero respect or knowledge about a hard earned dollar. Honestly, I don’t blame the guy for being pissed, it’s their vacation and they should be allowed to (legally) do whatever they want, ashling is not his mother and he should be allowed to drink as much as he wants and if the crew are so concerned about the guy drowning then have someone on deck to check on them every few minutes. He was spot on when he said you consider this your vacation, so many crew forget that their first priority is the guest and not a free way to travel the world.

You have clearly never worked in a customer facing job. His vacation or not the crew have a legal responsibility just like any other hospitality job to ensure their clients safety. If she had given him anymore alcohol and he hurt himself you bet the family would have tried to get compensated. Also how arrogant to expect to have a crew member stay up ALL night to babysit a fully grown adult after serving them all day. Crew need sleep too. Simple case of a rich boy being selfish and rude.
