Thrift clothing. Try not to buy new unless it’s something specific.

These are some great tips! Two things I like to do to save money are buying things I know I'll use in bulk and choosing reusable options over single-use items. I buy several things in bulk, including our favorite snacks and toilet paper. It saves a lot of money and we can afford a little higher quality of items doing this. For reusable items, one of my favorite swaps is using washcloths instead of paper towels to dry my hands or clean with. It's amazing how much little swaps like this adds up in savings per year.

Currently trying to break the bad habit of grocery shopping while hungry🤭 I think planning out meals ahead of time would also help with this, so you go in with a plan!

Tried it. Then my mind shifts to buy what's on sale.

I always carry a reusable water bottle, especially on holiday. In most countries in Europe the tap water is really good and I refill my bottle in the hotel or anywhere else.

If you love books, and I do, try using the library instead of popping into your local bookstore. Books can be pricey so unless it’s one you know you might read more than once, try the library. 📚

Keeping a list of places to travel is SUCH a good idea I’ve never heard! I kind of do this with things I want to buy (more in an attempt to show myself I don’t need the thing) but as a list girly, I’ll definitely be doing this!

Awesome tips! I have started cooking meals Sunday afternoon for the next week and I wait at least a week before I buy something that is not in the norm

I make a groc list and stick to it, I also make sure I’ve eaten something before I go and now I’ll be careful to not go thirsty! Love Olivers noises.

I usually upgrade my phone without fail every two years. But I haven’t done it this year. Any next time I might buy it outright instead of a contract. Been battering down the mortgage by paying two months every month so should be cleared next month. Yes !! Then will save more 😊

A great way to prolong the life of your cellphone is to put a glass screen protector and case on it as well as transfer your photos and videos to your computer before you fill up the memory. Often times, a lot of complaints around phone functionality is due to it not having enough free memory causing slowdowns.

Love these tips!! I don’t know if that is an option elsewhere, but I have been buying refurbished tech now and trading in my old tech for some cashback. I bought a new-to-me iPad with an Apple Pencil for a fraction of the price 4 years after buying my first, secondhand iPad. This month I traded in my 5 year old iPhone for a newer model, refurbished, 20% cheaper. It even came with a clear case so I didn’t even need to buy that! Tech is always going to be a considerable expense but the ability to buy old that feels new diminishes the price and the waste!

I like the idea of rotating subscriptions and I haven’t heard that a lot. Motherhood suits you, and as a long-time follower, it’s enjoyable to compare your priorities pre- and post-parenthood. This video is a great example of your older content reflecting your new phase of life. Looking forward to coming videos.

I love getting my nails & lashes done, but I recently cut that expense and begin to do press-ons and strip lashes ONLY when I am going out lol. It can get really expensive. Also, RETURNING items to get my money back 😅. I am horrible at this and I end up wasting money and holding onto items I do not need. Heading out to make some returns on my lunch break as we speak lol. Lastly, just being more intentional with what I buy. I ask myself multiple times if I’m actually gonna use it and where I am gonna store the item before I buy.

I pay for Walmart plus ($49 for the year) and avoid going in the store at all so there is no impulse buying! I like to do a freezer clean out every once in a while and challenge myself to use the food I’ve already purchased.

Great video. Oliver is so cute in the background 🥹 Most helpful thing I’ve done is having a wish list on my phone. As soon as I think to buy something I put it on the list and more often than not when I go back to the list I find I don’t want to purchase that item anymore. Loved your tips! ❤

For streaming services me and my friends and family share passwords and make our own profiles so we all save! I use my parents Netflix still because my Apple TV doesn’t log me out since I’m in another state!

I just wanted to add, when you say “it costed us nothing to repair it” it is not completely true - it costed you time and your time is not free. I absolutely agree that in most cases it makes sense to fix things yourself though! Just don’t like when people forget to value their time,it’s an important factor when you decide which way to go.
