The execution is there, but that'll only get her so far. It's a bit of a Kyla Ross situation with her at the moment. She won't be picked for worlds unless her full routine is ready (inbar skills).

i heard in an interview (by an elite gymnast) once you lose inbars, you never get them back.... this could have been ashton's last routine as an elite

liceous That's what happened to Kyla because of how tall she grew. Ashton posted a video doing inbars to Instagram a couple months ago, I hope they're ready for the selection camps.

Yeah I remember Kyla saying she's practicing to get her inbar back but she never did until she retired from Elite. Seems like her shoulder injury is being downplayed then and it might be worse than we know.

The only reasonable deductions was the arch she had on her overshoot and the hop on her landing, should’ve been higher than a 14.4 in my opinion

Alexous Enriquez it's not her it's the scoring system in gymnastics after the Olympics the scores get knocked down five tenths than in the Olympics. Most gymnast get around a 13.6 as an average good routine or less. I encourage you to watch the coverage of Nastia and Tim Dagget cover the competition because it shows colors to help it with the scoring it would make sense if you saw what I'm talking about have a great day!

new code of points, now most scores are lower than they were last year, skill difficulty is given lower now.
