Your really should check out some of Jimmy's work, either with Cold Chisel, in duets or as a soloist...its all good & it explains why Mahalia can sing like she does...she grew up listening & singing with her dad (rock, soul, blues, pop)...plus just god given talent.

The lady singing here is Mihalia Barnes, and she is absolute blues royalty. Plus, separately, she and the other two ladies make up a really powerful vocal group as well. Her dad is Jimmy Barnes. And he's done a lot of work with Joe. Just good music.

Jimmy actually got the opportunity to sing Simply the Best with his idol Tina Turner if you would like to check that out. Getting back to Joe he also has collaborated with Jimmy a couple of times. Mahalia has a well paid career as one of Joe’s back up singers..... and a recording studio there if she wants to do her own thing in her own time..... plus a first class band and legendary guitar player on stand by if needed. Remember...... radio and record label suits don’t care about talent or if a song is good...... they wouldn’t know anyway. If the label won’t let you do it YOUR way and the radio don’t play it....... you don’t make any money. That’s why the best musicians work as session muso’s, not as part of a pop or rock band. lol

All three of the background singers on Joe Bonamassa's "Three Kings Tour" were from Australia. The Blu-ray is "Live at the Greek Theatre." This song isn't, in fact, the strongest material from these concerts, and it is sort of just an average one from him. The musicianship is great, as usual, but this song is only average. Get the concert disc and enjoy the other much stronger songs. 🎸👌🎙
