@@pamelajordan2890 I started my career as a concert ticket scalper in 1974 when I was 12. My mother busted me when I told her I was going to a Metrochurch function when I really went to a KISS concert. No believable lie could explain my clothes soaked in cigarette smoke. My mother had been a concert goer in the 50's, living a mile away from the Louisiana Hayride, a concert venue that hosted every major music act in the country. She knew Elvis because one of her friends dated him when he was a truck driver in Bossier City . Anyway, she said she would take me to buy concert tickets and go to the show so long as I didn't lie to her anymore. She forged a doctor's appointment to get me out of school when tickets went on sale. In those days you could buy up to 20 tickets at a time so I made bank until high school graduation AND was able to see amazing concerts with musical talent we'll probably never see again. My mother was one in a billion.

Linda is from Tucson, AZ. Way back when before she first made it with the Stone Ponys and well into the 1980s she was known as the "Barefoot Princess". Real hippy chick musician.

I think that was Daniel gold on lead guitar. He had a decent career of his own.

The original was by Dee Dee Warwick '63 , Betty Everett covered it a year later to Linda of course 70's & you'd find out that Van Halen covered it in '79

Had such a crush on her when I was young. No genre she couldn't sing. This is my favorite song and the sexy growls and power are still beautiful. And Andrew Gold on guitar, who helped produce and played on the studio album.
