All the rackets I use are from Yonex (head heavy, Voltric range, I forgot the name 'cause I haven't been able to play for so long). I have some cheaper Carlton rackets as well, but the grips often come loose. I started with a no-name racket for £1.

there are many high quality racket that made by malaysian company especially a brand called apacs and fleet which are underrated in malaysia. guess you have to try it since you prefer smaller brand racket company.
@BadmintonBecky5 жыл бұрын
I've seen Apacs around actually, think I used one once, but I didn't really pay attention to it. I'll keep my eyes out for a fleet!

What about ALP sport brand of badminton rackets? It is also a china brand which was started in 2018.
@valeriewong6033 Жыл бұрын
Fleet recently changed their brand name to Felet. Their rackets are well made and have very strong frames. Another Malaysian racket brand u can try is Maxbolt, engineered in Korea though but is a Malaysian company. Since u like smaller companies, u can try the following brand names:- Felet (Malaysian brand) Maxbolt (Malaysian brand made in South Korea) HiQua (Indonesian brand) ProKennex (Taiwan brand) Jnice (Taiwan brand) Happy trying!

My friend broke 3 GlanZ within a month. Cracked in the same spot each time. I've seen Xcalibur, Apacs, Bonny, & Kumpoo. For racquets, I only use Yonex. I only want to use 1 brand of racquests and I like the feel better than other brands.

These rackets were free or at big discounts. U are lucky to have such a supportive and generous coach. For self sponsored players we usually look for best value so unlikely 1 is gonna spend money on a unknown brand. The branded will give better value and resale. Some of the lesser known brands ain't worth it. The difference between the branded and non branded is not far nowdays.
