@@krystingrant6292 I'm referring to NYPD stats, they keep statistics on this stuff. It is super rare for an Asian guy under 40 to be a victim of crime in NYC. Asian women and elderly are much more common, but specifically for young Asian men it's a rarity. Also, just statistically, only 1 in 10 people in NYC are Asian, and only 1 in 25 are Asian men and only 1 in 50 people are Asian men under 40, so just seeing a young Asian guy New Yorker just walking around is already rare. For them to be a victim of crime is going to be SUPER rare. Especially given that there is a lot of evidence that they typically fight back successfully and so they are avoided as targets. Criminals want easy targets like women and elderly.
