Nothing wrong with that. We can't see someone's genes with a glance, but we can take visual cues that'll help us assess someone's "fitness". Facial proportions, teeth, skin, hair...these are tell-tale signs. A person with fat genes (i.e. extracts more nutrients) is more suited for environments where food is scarce. Repulsion warns us about spreading these fat genes in the current environment, because it is detrimental to physique.

I hope people can still like competent women who act demure in romantic settings while both people know such acting is for fun. It's like saying offensive or dumb jokes. We can like compassionate and smart people who might act offensively or idiotically in humorous settings, while both people know such acting is for fun.

If your look is not like society's beauty standards, you got yourself a free truth serum: it will tell who's decent and worth hanging with and who's a total rickhead! You treat yourself well and be kind to your body. Entertainment industry can make anyone look attractive, that's why it's call show business, there's a huge backstage activity and tons of money behind everything you see. Then you look behind the cameras at directors, make up artists, stylists and they all look average and sometimes shabby. But they are the people making the magic and the big money. In the real world talent, passion and self confidence are what give you a place. Look at Keala Settle. Do you at your best.

Then she went on one of those massive diets and got herself to a "regular" size within a couple of school quarters. Guys would now ask her out on a weekly basis; heck, I never knew she was this pretty. It didn't last though, the yo-yo effect of the diet caught up to her, and her weight ballooned back to what it was. The guys disappeared again. I felt bad for her, but this is what our society is like. They took one glance at her and dismissed her. But she's one of the kindest sweetest people I've ever met.

It happened with me too. I wasn’t skinny but I had really nice healthy body and cute face. People used to pay attention to me even though I’m not super funny or whatever. Then I went to university and got mental problems as well as problems with literally everything.. my mom and dad got divorced, my one and only true friend was in other country, my dad took many loans and because of that I got a lot of threats through the phone. I couldn’t handle it all and stopped studying. I was so stressed out that I started eating like 3-5 times more than I would normally. So I was like 60kg, after a few years I was 95kg. And I tell you.. people treat me like shit. They talk to me when they need it and then just ignore until the next time smth happens. I used to be really popular among boys but now they act almost as if I don’t exist. Last year I tried really hard and lost 13kg, it’s a lot but l still don’t look as me before. But at least now I found really good guy that says I’m just fine as it is. He loves me and treats “as normal person”. But still... I always think how people would act if I lost like 20 more kg... sorry, I know it’s a long comment 😅

That’s similar to what happened to me. I used to be skinny and I had a nice face and people would be really nice to me and treat me well, I would get complimented a lot for my face. Everyone at school wanted to be my friend. But then I was going through a rough patch of my life and I would get horrible acne, my skin turned bad, I got glasses for my failing vision and I gained lots of weight. Then, people stopped complimenting me. In fact some people even told me to lose weight. I lost some friends and I was always referred to as the ugly one. After a few years I exercised and lost weight again, started wearing contacts and looked better. That’s when people started being nice to me again. It’s the sad reality of many people around the world.

I've always been pretty skinny my entire life and quite pretty.... However, everyone calls me an ugly, fat ho. My entire life I've been bullied by my own family and friends. Then I met an amazing friend in high school who I'm now dating him and his mother are my true family. They love me and care for me more than my own family. And the sad part is... because of all the hate I've received I feel so ugly and fat and all I wanted was plastic surgery. After watching this hour long movie on Tubi about 30mins ago I realize that even plastic surgery cant change my own horrible thieving family. Sorry for the long comment this movie just really touched a sore spot in my heart.

Remain true to your heart on who you want yourself to be. Don't let others tell you otherwise even if it is people you know. Who we are is only decided by ourselves.
