The instrument cluster with those big white/blue background speedometer and RPM could be distracting or bothering with the light while driving at night. I wish they offered a black background with only outline of the numbers and the needles. I know it switches to red colored theme, but even that looks too much and I have to switch to sport mode to get that? They should let us customize it to our own liking, with very minimalist themes as well. Also blue colors are just not great at night driving. I have a 2015 sonata and it bothers me. I wish they were red colors even very dark green is ok.

Great review Charlie! The seats/infotainment/dash/gauges - interior looks pretty nice. The outside styling of the glossy black monstrous grill and weird concave rear bumper are design fails to me via video/pictures - not sure if it looks better in person. That being said, I think the american/canadian outgoing i30 hatch N-Line still looks better. Even if this sedan came out with the full N next year in Canada/USA, I'd rather get the Type R for more money just because that over-the-top Honda still looks better than the current Avante N-Line design to me. Hyundai made some really weird choices not launching the i30N in Korea and North America.

I like it! Great review! I have the 2018 Hyundai Elantra Sport w/DCT, and premium package. I have loved the car! It's leased, and the lease is up in April of 2021. I am hoping that the Elantra N will be out by then! I have heard rumors that the Elantra N might NOT come to the US now? Is this true?? I hope not! That would be a shame because I really want one! If it doesn't, I may go for the 2021 Kia K5 GT, and I haven't totally ruled out the Veloster N either, but it just isn't quite my style being that I'm 52 now... 😉🤫 Can't wait for your reviews on both the Hyundai Elantra N and the Kia K5 GT!
