I just picked up the 2021 Elantra over the weekend with all the options.... By far the best car I've ever owned so far! I just learned today that the car basically drives itself on the highway 🤯 I had a 2018 sonata it totally blows that out of the water!

People... kindly note that all these features are available on the top trim only, don't expect this interior on the lower trims... they will never tell you about this. You're welcome

what they dont tell you is if you paid attention they went from the base trim to the upper trim, for some reason in the BOSE equipped system you dont get the wireless Andriod Auto or Apple Carplay, in the lower trim it has wireless only.

On my 2021 Elantra SEL, for some reason, Wireless Android Auto won't work with my Note 8, which has the ability. I'm having to use a cable. And even then, music from Spotify will stutter a lot. I have the latest update on the app. This is very frustrating.

you should have specified that is the N line trim level , I have the preferred trim level and it doesn't have alot of those options..

If it’s the 10.5 inch touch screen then it doesn’t have wireless, only the 8 inch one does

What customers really need is how to depend on IVT as far as extra maintenance as well as longevity. That is a major change to the car and all the rest wont do you any good if your transmission is dead.

@@tristana.8304 They don't have a magic wand to make an IVT last. That's my point I hate to see them go down that road I have seen absolute nightmares over CVT and this is no different

@@robertsparks3584 yeah, a CVT made by nissan. Hyundai has been using them for years and has had zero issues. Even toyota and honda use them and i’ve seen them with 300k miles with no issues still on the original.

Good thing Hyundai has a 10yr/100k mile warranty on their transmissions! They’ll repair or replace the whole thing brand new if your transmission ever fails within those parameters, free of charge. They always stand behind their warranty. I know because I’m a 20yr Hyundai customer. They’ve been consistent with living up to their word as far as their warranty is concerned. But in all the 5 cars we bought we’ve only needed one transmission worked on, and instead of trying to repair it, they replaced the entire thing and gave us a loaner car with a full tank of gas the whole time so we weren’t at all inconvenienced, all without us spending a penny. Definitely worth all the money we’ve invested into this company.

Yeah, I agree, but I guess it’s not too bad when it’s almost all the way up, you can always just lift it up manually using the the back of hand or elbow or the package that you are carrying.

this particular one looks to be the limited. but most of these features can be speced for the elantra SEL but you do loose some little things like the leather seats/auto braking going down from the limited but the 2 10 inch screens can be speced on the SEL it just comes standard with the limited. hope this helps.

My 3 week old 2023 Elantra SEL started alarming Forward Collison assist warning and radar blocked after 500 miles. There is nothing obviously blocking either camera. The dealership won't agree to look at the car for another 3.5 weeks. I have to be in driving and the alarm starts at 0.5 miles. every time. I then have to go into the touchscreen and disable the FCA while I am driving. This is beyond unacceptable in a car brand new car that promotes technology as a star feature!

The new Elantra has taken two steps back. Step 1, CVT transmission and step 2, Single torsion bar rear suspension. Lots of shiny new tech that has no appeal to me. I might, if I buy an Elantra base model look for a very low mileage 2019 model.
