Hey Mat. No I actually have owned a small running specialty store in the states for almost 20 years. I am fed up with all the companies. They are mostly owned by large multinational investment companies and I feel that there is a lack of devotion. We are actually launching our own shoe and brand in a month. I am over 200 miles in my Nimbus 24 and every single thing you said about the outsole, I had the exact same thoughts today when looking at my shoes after my run today. I also feel like these may not make it to 400 miles, which is what I go to with each pair of my shoes. I want so bad to like the FF Blast+ but just am not totally sold on it. I previously ran in the Novablast and loved that midsole feel. The FF Blast+ can at times feel like it is bottoming out or almost too mushy. The shoe performs best for flat running versus the mainly hill running I do. I am an Asics fan but likely won't buy this shoe again. I am excited for what the Novablast 3 will be like and have seen good reviews of the Cumulus 24 (though I've never tried this model before).

Haven't done any running for a very long time, so I know it's going to require determination at first. Here in China, during the holiday sale they cost me $150 USD. So even here they're still quite expensive. @@its_Matt_B_I want to share something about Nimbus series. For me the Asics Gel Nimbus series are far the best shoe series I've ever tried. I've bought nimbus 20 in late december 2017. And kept them until today. The shoes were and are amazing! After 4 and some years of wear and probably more than 2500 miles run in various conditions (road, grads, snow and ice-with protection over them and even hiking) and God knows how many miles walked the outsole was worn (I repaired the rubber once after 3 years and i still can wear the shoes) the upper got stretched but only a little bit in the toe area! So i hope these are going to last me even more. I was comparing them side by side and 24's have better quality upper and more stack in the sole, I believe is going to last.
