For me the Gel-Nimbus 26 was way more versatile and more nimble then the Gel-Nimbus 25 that was all about softness, plush and more focused on casual use. This Gel-Nimbus 27 seems to me a middle ground between both Nimbus 25&26 : softer then the version 26 but not as the v25 and almost as quickly as the Gel-Nimbus 26. I'm looking to see the grip for raining days ... the 26th grip was a good as good as Puma grip and by far the best grip in a high cushioning shoes this year.

Question: I am a 185 cm, 76 kg runner looking for a shoe exclusively for comfort and recovery easy days, to use when I am feeling super sore after hard interval days… Would you say the Gel Nimbus 27 are currently the most comfortable recovery day shoes on the market? I am looking for that soft cloud like feel... Thank you! 🙏

Crazy times we are living in this consumerism age I've started running in October 2023 with the nimbus 25 now on my second pair it's not even 2025 and we have nimbus 27 🤯🤯 With Nimbus 25 it's like running with pillows on your feet and from what I see in this review the 27th it's mostly the same

Absolutely nothing wrong with the fabulous Nimbus 25 for its intended purpose, I'm also still running in it.

I love the midsole on nimbus 25 and 26 .It is comfortable to wear for a slow run and walking. Unfortunately one fatal flaw that made me put off buying another nimbus. The reason was the upper material was easily torn on both nimbus 25 & 26.

'Easily torn?'...makes me wonder what you were doing with them.

@reliableandrew it always happened at my right big toe.That was the point the torn upper started. NEVER happened to other running shoes that I previously wore.

Great channel and content, guys! Does it feel warm to run in these? Nimbus 25 and 26 were not good for warmer climates - like running in a hot, wet sponge. Also, the insoles caused so many blisters at the bottom of the foot. I have never had a running shoe that did that before, and I have had many shoes. Honestly, I gave both away within a week of purchase.

The 26 is more versatile, but yes novablast 5 probably does the trick for less. Great everyday easy mileage shoe regardless.

27 is softer than 26, not as soft as 25 but responsive as the 26.

Guys, for a 5 hours marathon, which one will be better? Novablast, Nimbus, or Superblast? I am in between those options now.

Nimbus. The faster you become, you'd transition naturally to a novablast and a superblast.

When you say running shoe size, does it mean that it's a half size up your normal casual shoe size?

Yes. Always go one higher than casual shoes and even a full (42 to 43 or 9 to 10) for trail shoes (toe guard, downhill) with narrower brands like Hoka, Nike or plain smaller ones like New Balance FuelCell line.

I really didn’t like the last iteration. The midsole is great though, like walking in a mattress. I hated the ankle Achilles flare, since it hurt my ankle If I secured it tight.
