Asics Japan Skate Shoe Review

This color way so clean and goes with everything. Also, I have, two skates shoes and want to complete fire set 🔥. Then only issue found for me just breaking the shoes. Lastly, fire skate spots 🔥🔥

I found most of the one I skated broke in pretty regularly but this one was the only one that felt closest to being broken in right out the box. I’ve gotta try two more from them to have tried them all 😅

hello, if i have leg 28.8cm, size 11(28.5cm) will be good for me ? i love when the shoes fit snugly on my feet, If you took this pair of sneakers exactly under your foot, please tell me if they have a much smaller size, or they fit exactly size

Yes you should be fine seeing that you like a snug fit and the asics japans fit with a bit of space. I hope I wasn’t too late getting back to you!

Dunks toe box ALWAYS collapse, flattens out and it changes my flick. The Japan pro keeps it shape and the flick remains the same the entirety of the shoe. I’m on my 3rd pair of asics and I think they’re heads above dunks in terms of fit, comfortably and life of the shoe. Dunks sizing are all over the place. Asics sizing is rock solid. I’m mainly ledges and flat so the insole has been perfectly fine for me. I like the way the insole molds to your foot shape.

I do like that they are way more consistent than Dunks are in sizes and that I don't have to wonder what size I need for any of their shoes so far. Asics is really doing their thing.

Were the insoles hard to remove ? Wanna see if putting in foot print insoles in would make a difference . Usually I do this with the dunks

A little bit but if you start pulling them from the forefoot of the insole it’ll come up a lot easier

I got these in the white leather and black sole/outsole , love them so far really lightweight shoe for me I mostly skate accels ogs or other chunky cupsoles , fit was true to size for me in 10.5 , the only issues i have with sizing are with adidas I can wear 10 or 10.5 they have no consistency , I've been seeing the gel vickka in the lakers purple and yellow colorway if those come here im ordering like 10 pairs of those , the gel vickkas are my next buy but im waiting on better colorways for me I like the blue with white logo but sold out in my size online.

I’m hoping the best for ya on the Gel Vickas. They’re one of the best ones for sure. On the sizing though, Asics is pretty inconsistent too. When you have the right size, it’s perfect.

Dude I only skate es accel ogs but my friends are telling me how nice slimmer shoes perform in technical skating so I wanna test some out and it was either these or the sb blazers. Are the Japan pros good?

@@Wherescl never skated blazers but the japan pros im enjoying at the moment , kinda similiar to tyshawn lows a little bit but feel slightly better

Are these the price difference compared to vans? Are they still a flat skate shoe?

The ASICS Japan is priced around the price of a higher-end Vans skate shoe which is more like $100-$110. I wouldn’t consider them a flat skate shoe either though they aren’t too crazy on the shape.

How does the durability compare to Nike blazers sb?

So this is a tough one for me because I find the NikeSB blazer to be even more durable than NikeSB Dunks and these are pretty comparable to the durability of the dunks. They last a bit longer than dunks but I can normally get an extra week of 2 out of my blazers than dunks.

Is the outsole weird and square like a superstar?

Not really square like the superstar but definitely wider than your dunks. If you find sb dunks uncomfortable then these are a good replacement for comfort and overall feel.

Thanks for the dunk comparison i know that was a big thing if your a shoe nerd like me cause I mean cmon the Japan s looks like a dunk rip nothing against asics

There’s a lot of dunks/ NewBalance 480 rips in skateboarding right now. Almost every company has one so I may try to get a video done on that.

Yeah they actually are pretty true to size. I’d try them on at your local skate shop just to make sure you like the fit. Some are more slim than others but the length is consistent in every model
