I was fine with my outswing but whenever I tried to bowl an inswinger it turned out to be a disaster. By the help of this video I get to know that I was using wrong thump position in inswing till now which is same as outswing thump position. Its actually reverse swing. Tear a small bit of tape from one side and then bowl. The ball will swing opposite to the side where tape was torn. In simple words, ball will go to the heavier side.

Honestly it took me a while to get the hang of but i finally understand inswing bowling now. It’s my personal preference but i use my index finger and thumb only as the grip. I have the rough side of the ball facing to the right and the shinier side facing left. It helps me bowl amazing yorkers im telling u bro

I can swing both ways because the tape is ripped from one side and its all about ripped side of the tape. all you have to do is change the direction of ripped side to swing both ways.

The swing is because that little rough green tape you put in the ball not because of grip. If properly balanced tape ball can't be swing on will.

I am agreed with all the commenting persons talking about broken tape. when tape is broken it is very easy to swing on both sides. the only way to swing a completely taped ball is to finger it other wise no chance.

Usman Murad, its very good question, its a tip and you will see in my next video. if you want to bowl a short length ball(in swting or out swing) then reduce the space between ball and your palm, if you want a full length ball then keep good gap between ball and your palm.
